It was a prestigious place to stay. Old worl ambience. Warm fires to greet you, then to be greeted so warmly feeling like you’re being welcomed to a family homestead.
I would recommend it overwhelmingly if you want a personal out of city lights place to stay..

Chris was a fantastic host with great attention to detail. The room was lovely and very clean, and we really enjoyed the cooked breakfasts, communal fireplaces, and complimentary port every evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kubba Roonga and hope to be back again soon.

My partner and I stayed at Kubba Roonga for our valentines weekend away. Chris made us feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable, I loved the history of the guesthouse and the furniture was beautiful. The guesthouse is also very close to the hiking trails in Blackheath. We will stay here again:)

A really nice place to stay. As mentioned in other reviews, the signs and "rules" are a little intimidating, but if you can overlook that slight irritation you will enjoy your nights here.
