Left after staying 7 hours.
Checked in, exhausted...
I showered, ate, then after 2 hours decided to lay down and rest.
It sounded like a Hurricane swept across the rooms. Banging, knocking, slamming doors, screaming for almost 3 straight hours.
I got up, packed up and left after a whole 7 hour stay.
So disappointed and really upset.
Wouldn't have done any good to complain. I think a bus was outside so I'm sure a majority of the hotel was dealing with the same hurricane.

We enjoyed our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday! We were with family and helping as volunteers in WNC. The location is perfect and convenient. Check in was a breeze. Nice size clean room. Showing a few signs of aging (lament flooring was cracking right down the center of the room and paint spray all over the shower rod).

Beautiful site on top of a hill overlooking the mountains. Clean nice pool. Friendly staff. decent breakfast bar. Clean comfortable room. You will enjoy this property.

Rooms are a bit run down. Mattresses are definitely past their prime with a dip in the middle. Balcony is nice with rocking chairs but it does face the highway so it is loud. AC and shower worked well. However in the king bed room the sink is around the corner from the bathroom and bathroom door opens up right to bed which was an odd layout. Overall, I'm not sure that I would stay here again.

Lodge was conveniently located and great view to the mountains but room was older, floor was dirty and there were cigars in the balcony.

Not so good anymore. We've stayed at this location 3 other times and it would appear that it has changed owners. Not a friendly arrival, rooms are suffering from lack of attention, breakfast was stale with minimal choices. Balcony is soooo loud. Too many other choices, too expensive for what it is.

Cute motel with a great view on the smoky mountains. Having a balcony was fantastic. Room was renovated too. However, the A/C was blowing the air directly on our faces so we had to turn it off and got hot at night. The bed needs a new mattress too. And watch out for the black bear. There was one behind the garbage bin in the parking lot !!!
