We were surprised by the upgrade - and it was just fabulous! Perfectly quiet for a couple of old girls having a road trip, and we really enjoyed staying with you. Ohakune had some lovely surprises too - we weren't aware of all the options available. Walking track to the falls was a bit tiring, but we made it half way and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.

room was nice and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. kitchenette made it super easy to feed my family and not buy take aways. kids loved the trampoline! Only downside was the Wi-Fi isn't very good in the rooms we ended up having to use our data.

But sadly our unit was disappointing, the beds felt unclean there were stains on the sheets old makeup etc. It was very cold with no spare blankets and no electric blankets on any of the beds. Also there was no coffee plunger available in our unit. This could be a fantastic motel if these things were attended to.

We had a very pleasant stay at the lodge. It was quiet and spacious and we appreciated the laundry facilities. We did have some problems with the WiFi which the owner said was due to their service provider doing some maintenance work.
