The Shantaa is pure serenity on every level. Staff are beautiful and welcoming, the property is magnificent. An absolute gem on Koh Kood. We adopted a friendly cat there, felt like home. It’s so nice here that we extended. We also spent days just in the resort because the food is amazing and the staff are lovely. It’s gorgeous. Love it here. Addicted to the Thai pork omelette for breakfast. Only good things to say.

This resort has everything: fantastic views, great food, very nice villa with outdoor shower, really cozy gardens and access to a nice beach. And maybe the best part: the staff are so friendly and goes the extra mile for you. You have to stay here! 😁

A beautiful little resort with impeccable service and great food. Our stay here was wonderful. The hotel's private beach is small and rocky but a few minutes walk from the hotel there is a nice long sandy public beach, so you have options. The dinner here was the best meal we had on the island for our entire trip on Koh Kood. Breakfast was also excellent. The bathroom is completely outdoor, but we didn't have any issues with bugs. The room was beautiful and the grounds of the resort are very well kept. Overall, we totally recommend Shantaa and would come back if we go to Koh Kood again.

Beautiful setting, excellent staff, amazing food, food is one of the best we experienced in Thailand. Snorkelling off the beach is great. Eco friendly relaxed resort. We cannot wait to return.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve been in Thailand. The atmosphere is so nice and peaceful. The staff is very friendly and the location is really good. Rooms are clean and the outside bathroom is a nice touch. The only problem with the room is that there is no room for clothes and other stuff. We ended up using a chair for that.
We rented a scooter and drove around the island for a few days but you could easily just stay in Shantaa for the whole trip - they have everything you need.
Both of the restaurants are really good and they have plenty of options to choose from. Papaya salad is the best I’ve ever eaten and I could come back just for that.
Maybe one thing worth mentioning is that they don’t have a breakfast buffet. Instead of that you have a breakfast menu and you can order whatever you want from the list. For some people it might be a disappointment but I hate food waste so I prefer this option.
We will definitely come back!

Food is outstanding (Grilled fish is a must try on your stay).
Staff is friendly and helpful, in particular Kai from reception who speaks perfect English

The resort doesn’t have pool nor TV. Not much a beach neither. However, It’s quite and spacious. Perfect for couples who want to get away from everything else. There’s a spot where you can watch beautiful sunset. The staff is very friendly especially Khun Kai.
