I left the property after 30 mins and look for another one . The room smell. Tower is not provided until requested. It should not promoted to travellers who are not backpackers.

The room was good as it was away from the main building. The provision of a computer was very handy. The 2.2 kilometres walk to the main part of town was a negative as I had no car.

Clean, big room with a bathroom locked with a key, the owner will tell you "this is your own" but it's not, you'll share it with the room next to yours. The wifi connection is VERY bad. The kitchen is big and clean. Regarding the reception, the woman is smiling but you feel like you disturb her everytime. It's ok for 1 or 2 nights, and if you don't need wifi.

The place is excellent for those who are looking for a budget accommodation; kitchen full equipped, clean rooms and bathrooms, free wifi and common area. The only problem was the shower hot water, there is a rule of 5 minutes baths. For me was ok, but for my wife this time wasn't enough.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay here in a twin room. Very warm welcome in the reception - best service in a hostel in NZ.

Booked for one night - stayed for two. My partner and I were really impressed by how much space we got in the Double Room with the Private Bath. We were a little surprised that the 'private bath' was next door, and not actually attached to the room, but you have your own set of keys - so you are the only ones using it, no problem. The kitchen area is huge if you want to do any cooking, great space to prep if you are doing Abel Tasman. The deck area with all of the couches is lovely, and the wifi works great in the common area (does not work in the rooms though). All in all, we enjoyed our stay and the management was a delight to chat with.
