The hotel was amazing. We thought it was new! The entire staff were excellent, from the front desk, to the lady serving breakfast and the cleaning staff, they were very nice and accommodating. The entire hotel was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone who has pets as well!

I had booked this place over Labor Day weekend because we were meeting my sister who was staying with her in-laws in Oak Island. I wanted to have the option of the indoor pool in case the weather was yucky so the kids could still play in water. When we got there, We saw a sign taped to the elevator about the pool, being under maintenance. According to the sign, it was supposed to be fixed by the next day. The staff that evening had no idea what I was talking about with regards to the pool, so they never mentioned anything. Each time we came and went, we would walk past the pool windows to see if they were making progress. The pool never was fixed while we were there. It was very disappointing because the weather was yucky one of the days, and we could have absolutely use the indoor pool. It was a major factor in why we chose that hotel. There was nothing on the booking warning as it was under maintenance otherwise I would have l chosen something cheaper.
The other issue was the fact that the room smelled musty. Myself and my children all have asthma, so this irritated our lungs. There was only airflow if the AC was running, and there was no exhaust fan for the bathroom. I think these things added to the moisture level. The breakfast was substantial enough with a variety of choices, That was the main positive for our stay

Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Dog relief area was adequate size just needed to have some doggie bags in the holder. It was empty luckily we had brought some. Break food was very good.

I walked in to check in, and the gentleman greeted me. The check-in process was easy, and our was clean. It was close to everything. I'd stay there again, this place is highly recommended.

I think there were was a bed bug too because I had 4 bites on my lower part of my back. There was a terrible odor in the room like urine or moldiness somewhere.

Check in was very good, the staff on duty were very helpful, great customer service. Prior to going I was told that the site had a pool. The pool was inoperable, the ice machine on the 4th floor was broken. The shower had contained mold especially on the chalking.
Departure the next morning was completely opposite my arrival, the person who was on the desk was cold as ice and lacked hospitality and manners.

While at Carolina Beach, decided we would like to spend the night near by. This hotel came up as only 14 miles away which was reasonable to us. However, upon booking and heading out the check in, we realized the distance was point to point and not driving distance. Had to add almost 40 minutes of travel time because of the logistics error.

I really don’t know how this hotels reviews are so high. 1) the buffet breakfast was nothing to brag about, what they called scrambled eggs were absolutely disgusting. 2) the room I had reserved isn’t the type they had for me, I had requested two beds and they had one available. Luckily this was ok for our stay since not everyone was able to come. 3) as soon as you walk in the first set of doors there is humidity and black mold everywhere 4) the hotel doesn’t have regular tv, it uses Roku which is not something I normally use 5) the tv didn’t actually work. I asked for help and they said change the input button or I can put you in a different room. I didn’t want to change rooms, we had our dogs with us and I did not feel like taking the large dog kennel apart and back together all over again.. the night person came up pushed all the buttons and again offered to put
Us in another room… morning came manager wouldn’t
Be available until 3 pm, we were
Not going to waste the one full day we had in the area waiting for a tv fix which was important to help keep our pups calm and quiet from all the noises of the hotel, switched rooms only

The first room we were given had a toilet that wouldn't flush so we were moved to a different room. The second room didn't have body wash in the dispenser in the shower and shampoo dispenser pump wasn't working. Other than that it was a nice place to stay. Wonderful breakfast!
