brilliant hotel with very friendly staff. we stayed here for the second consecutive year.

So the hotel was really nice had really nice views of Matterhorn and the room was really big. The bathroom was a bit on the small side and we never really ate at the restaurant so I can’t really rate the restaurant however, the breakfast was excellent and the ski room closet was excellent. Overall we had a really good experience

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and, as advertised, just a short walk (even in ski boots) to the lifts.

This is an excellent hotel with ideal location for skiing..big reception and warm and comfortable seating areas… staff is really friendly… the only thing we didn’t like is slightly dated sofa in the room… but other than that highly recommended with really helpful staff

Super happy with the room and service, location is perfect 2 minutes to the lift. Facilities spot on and great service across the board - we are definitely hoping to return.

Be aware that the hotel is split between the rooms that have been renovated and the ones that haven't (price still high!). Because we booked via Hotels.com (the reception made clear that this was the reason), my husband and I had the terrible experience of staying in one of the old rooms: - Carpets weren't clean. - Furniture is worn out - Heating didn't work properly. No matter what we did the room felt like a sauna. One night we decided to turn it off but water started dripping from the radiator. Someone came to fix it, but the problem remained. - Hairdryer? I found one under the think, but it was supposed to be attached to the wall, so it didn't work. Another surprise was the Wellbeing area. The pool was only open in the evenings. In addition, we decided to have a New Year's dinner at the hotel. As I am vegetarian, before booking, I asked the hotel if there would be a vegetarian option. They confirmed. I also spoke with the chef before dinner. Everything seemed fine. To my "surprise" again, there was no vegetarian menu and out of the 8 dishes that were part of the menu, I could only eat two and the desert. The chef then offered me a last-minute omelette (laugh). When I mentioned to the hotel that it wasn't fair to charge me the full amount they refused. Only after a discussion, they decided to give me a discount (but no apology) On the good side, the hotel is really close to the slopes, there is a ski room and the breakfast is good. Just be aware of the possible scams!

Nested at the foot of the Cervino the views are truly remarkable. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, both at the reception and at the restaurant. The spa area didn’t have the steam room, but advertised that it has. The sauna wasn’t working until the last night out of 7 - heating elements got burned. The breakfast was pretty basic - you could not order the eggs the way you want. They constantly were running out of some products.

The hotel is very well located near the ski slopes and also town centre. Very clean, modern and comfortable. Unfortunately the swimming pool, sauna and gym area were not available during our stay. The ski boot room needs updating with lockers only available to the premier rooms.

We stayed at the Europa about 2 years ago and it has been much upgraded since then. Really nice rooms in the new wing.

Very poor spa - not everything worked. Dingy. No lunch or other facilities on bad days. Car park too small - underground parking 11 euros per day. Reception and bar staff were excellant.
