Really liked this Inn, and it’s an Inn and nothing else. Slept really well here and would definitely recommend! Friendly owner, spacious rooms, easy parking and a short walk to the village. Really close to Acadia National Park, and the owner clearly informed what to do if you needed cleaning etc. which managed expectations. Nice little pool too but no breakfast. Should upgrade the quality of the towels and move away from plastic and paper cups, it’s 2024.

The Cromwell Harbor Motel was conveniently located close to downtown Bar Harbor, and the property was beautifully landscaped! Our room was clean and had all the amenities that we needed.

Motel advertises headed pool but it hasn’t been heated for years. “Heated by mother nature” we were told at check-in. When we mentioned the discrepancy to the front desk they didn’t seem to care too much that the listing is incorrect. We booked Cromwell largely for its heated pool so we were pretty disappointed (pool was rather chilly). Other than that, the property is pretty impressively maintained all over, if a little dated. King bed was reasonably comfy if a little springy; pillows were fair. For a more budget oriented place it’s hard to criticize too much, but having some good coffee available in the office would be a great amenity.

Clean updated hotel was just a touch of nostalgia. Brought me back to my childhood when we stayed at hotels where the owners took pride in their establishments. Rooms were very clean, large and comfortable. It was close enough to downtown to walk, but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. We didn’t swim, but the pool was very clean . Owner was very personable, already planning our next trip back! This time we did a couples getaway, but next time we will bring our kids!

This was a great place to stay while visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It was walking or biking distance from downtown and not too far from the Park. The front desk (don't remember her name) was so friendly and gave us a lot of options for eating and playing. She even let us keep our truck there after check out so we could spend the rest of our day riding our bikes around Bar Harbor and over to Bar Island.

This place is fabulous. Simple, clean, and everything we needed.

Clean is an understatement. Immaculate. The room had everything you could need. Lovely manager. She offered great tips for food and fun. This hotel is one block from town. You can walk straight down to the harbor.

Great place just outside of town but can be within walking distance if you want to. Very clean!! Cute place!

This place was great. It had a very old school feel, but very clean. It is a close enough walk to the heart of Bar Harbor, but just far away enough to feel like you are in a private area of the harbor.

The staff/owner is wonderful. The property has air conditioning which we needed to use. Loved the beautiful area, walked to breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Laundromat is in walking distance. The property is clean and the room was comfortable.

One of the nicest places I’ve stayed. Immaculate room and grounds! Loved that it is at the end of the street and within a few minutes walk to downtown restaurants and shopping while at the time feeling tucked away in a pastoral setting. Definitely want to come back.

So cute and in a great area that is walkable into the town. Due to it being slightly outside the town, it is very quiet and peaceful. Rooms are clean and well equipped, the king mattress was very comfy as well.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but have to say totally satisfied in every way. We stayed 3 nights, no issues at all. Room was large, clean, and quiet. Free parking right by the room. Easy walk to every location. We had nice interactions with one of the owners, amazing attitude and customer service. We hope to return next year.

We loved this property! The owner stayed late to welcome us and was so incredibly helpful. I specifically chose the location based on how nostalgic it was. It brought back wonderful childhood memories. The room was spacious and so clean. I highly recommend this property!
