Lovely location with a great view of the Alps. Loved the quiet and peaceful surroundings. We traveled with our two children (5 and 8) and the room was perfect for our small family.

Issues with the hotel: 1- Wifi or 5G does not work in the room. That’s a bummer when you travel and searching for info. 2- Smells very bad outside of the building. Not sure where it’s coming from but hard to breath. 3- Lots of bugs around the building, so hard to relax outside at the lounge area. 4-It says the hotel had a pool, but it’s actually a “nature” pond like pool in the back that has all sorts of life inside. Nobody entered that pool. Looks beautiful but certainly scary to swim in. I’m glad I found this small town bc of the hotel. The Hopfenssee is beautiful and cozy. However, I don’t think I can recommend the hotel due to the issues I had while staying.

Clean and comfortable with just the most amazing views of mountains and countryside. We loved it. The hot water was only warm though, not a big thing but tricky to find anybody to ask and when we left we also struggled to find anybody or a way in. Would we stay again? YES, YES, YES

Such a great place to stay !! Large room and perfect for us. The breakfast was just amazing. Don’t miss it. The fresh honeycomb was new to me and most delicious!

A spectacular location. Only 8 min from castles but set in a meadow with horses and lake. Very spacious accommodations, wish we stayed longer.

This place was out of this world! I wish we had known before we booked all of our trip, we would have stayed here a few more days! The service was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was so fresh and tasty. Such a relaxing stay! We will most definitely be back.

Great place to stay. We didn’t know one of the keys was for the office. There’s a coffee machine in there. Bring coin if you forget to bring your own coffee.

Beautiful location with cows and horses close by (note the smell of the country when you open the windows, which you will need to, because like most places in the area, there is no A/C). Gorgeous views of the mountains from the rooms. The breakfast area is pure Bavaria and super cool. Staff was very welcoming. Room was very beautiful and well equipped including a basic kitchen with everything you'd need for a long stay. We arrived after reception closed and the instructions were easy to follow. This place is a hidden gem! It's close to Fussen (15 min) if you are in the area to see the castles, but far enough to get away from the crowds.

Inside was spacious with a luxurious bathroom shower and tub. Right near the lake too which was so warm!! We enjoyed staying in here much more than going into the town of Fussen.

The staff was very accommodating. We loved the upstairs balcony and view from the room. The morning breakfast was great too. We will stay here next time we are in the area for sure!

We stayed just one night but already felt very relaxing not only in our room but in the whole facility. Dining area had small space for little kids to play which is always great for family with small kids like us. We enjoyed the stay and can highly recommend.

Amazing place, super comfortable, beautiful wood details in the room, clean an comfortable bed, The staff is helpful and and attentive. Would love to go back !
