We were in the area to take part in an event so wanted a convenient, no-frills base for a couple of nights.
Hostal Villa fitted the bill perfectly.
Being located a block away from the river it was really convenient for nice morning and evening strolls.
Our event was on the outskirts of Cádiz, only about a 15 minute drive away, so this location was convenient, but enabled us to stay outside of the busy city.
The staff on reception were welcoming and helpful.

It's hard to find in a narrow alley, impossible to stop the car anywhere for check in, after that we can get a parking spot across the road for 5 euro. Hotel staff does not speak english, but friendly enough.
Bed is thin, bathroom adequate with free toiletries. There's breakfast for 2.75 euro consists of: orange juice, coffee baguette with butter and cheese, which is quite cheap and nice.
