Good Overnight stop on roadtrip.

Very clean very quiet

Simply cannot recommend this place enough. Justin is amazing and seems to respond even before my text gets sent. The location is perfect and my two kids loved it! I've stayed at a lot of hotels over my years and have never seen one with free laundry.

Very cute. They had good quality toiletries and towels. The mattress and pillows need an upgrade but everything else was good quality. It’s very close to pelican brewery which is my favorite place to go and the beach there is perfect for small children. The staff is kind and very attentive. It’s easy to get to since it’s right off the highway but I recommend requesting a room towards the back of the property and away from the highway because the trucks are loud at night. Since there was no AC we had to open a window at night and the trucks woke me up a couple times. We will be back.

We stayed here on a whim & it was a great choice! The place is cute, clean & cozy. Close to eating options & minutes away from great beach views… either walk 5 - 10 minutes to the large walk up dune or drive 5 minutes up the road to the Pelican Bay restaurant. Nice touch with the vitrola & your choice of vinyl records. Justin was absolutely welcoming & informative! Not having planned on visiting Pacific City, I have to say we made it a point to get up early & take in as much as we could before hitting the road. THANK YOU for having us!

We found the floors werent washed. The beds were like sleeping on cardboard. The mattresses were too hard. Both my husbabd and myself werent able to get a good night sleep because of that. The rooms were cute abd loved the record player. They just need new mattresses. :)

Yesterday (July 15, 2024) we stayed at Surf and Sand at Pacific City in Oregon. Over the years we have stayed at a wide range of hotels starting at Super-8 to Waldorf Astoria in NYC. We can’t remember ever staying at such an ultra POOR quality hotel. Even though the room rate was $217 for a night, there was no service or fresh coffee or anything else that we could recall. Justin at the front tiny office did the best that he could to be helpful. Most of all we struggled hard to sleep at Surf and Sand at Pacific City, last night. We were concerned mostly about “bed bugs”. If you are reading this review, please pay close attention to what Surf and Sand at Pacific City is; you can get a lot better for less near by.

Extra touches like Vinyl record players in each room, detailed list of what to do and where to eat locally, bonus toiletries. This place is not along the beach, which was just fine for our purposes. The walls are quite thin, which wasn't terrible for us, but not recommended for a light sleeper.

Old motel but well maintained. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Not much around except pretty rustic local hangouts. People are nice and our flatbread pizza was good at a local bar

The owners are exceptionally kind and made themselves available for all patrons 24/7. It’s a short walk to the beach and the hotel is dog friendly with an area very close to the rooms for the dogs to relieve themselves. Rooms are spacious, clean and have many amenities (fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee, record player). A great place to stay!
