Old but clean, the food was mediocre. The shuttle service was not flexible and a nightmare to arrange.

This simple hotel, nicely located in the montain overlooking Monterosso, is perfect for visiting the cinque terre while avoiding the crouds of the see side. No luxury here, but nothing missing. The shuttle to go down to the village in the morning and back up at the end of the afternoon is very convenient and avoids the hassle of parking there.
The restaurant is nice as well (booking advised if one wants to eat outside)

They advertise a shuttle throughout the day to bring clients to and from the village however the options were extremely limited. In fact when we arrived in the village we were told by the driver that no more shuttles were being offered. Luckily we met a lovely Italian family who drove us. When we left we had to pay 50 euros to get to the train station bc we were leaving early morning. Amazing scene from this property. There is a breakfast offered with good choices. Also, very eco friendly but no fans in the rooms during extreme heat ( definitely no AC but we did not expect this) meant poor sleep. Overall, we felt unwelcome in this environment and will definitely not return.

This place exceed expectations, the church and naturist vibe were amazing. Who needs a TV or AC anyhow. Amazing views of the ocean, nice outside area with tables for enjoying a bottle of wine and watching the sunset. Went in July and even without AC temperatures overnight was in the low 60F. Close to two trails to Monterosso and Vernazza. For the true hiker who wants to be away from the tourist this place is the perfect fit

This was a lovely off-the-beaten track spot. Absolutely beautiful setting, albeit old buildings, but that is its particular charm. Very simple yet spacious accommodation with convenient shuttle to Monterossa.

Room had no heat. There was no WiFi when advertised there was. Shuttle to town only went to 6 o clock pm so you couldn’t even stay in town long. Driving back and forth was crazy only because you couldn’t even park when down in town. Asked for a refund for days we decided not to stay. They said no.

It was ok old but clean the personal at the front desk very friendly. Good food the only thing is up at the hill not easy for transport.

This was a last minute decision. You must call the property to set up the time for the shuttle to come to pick you up, they only pick up between 6 to 7:30 PM. The ride alone was worth of the price we paid! The room was very clean, with no TV, no WIFI, and no microwave, which didn't really bother us. It was very quiet, the church bell rings at 9:30 PM and 7 AM. There are several hiking trails around the property but we didn't have the time to check them out. The breakfast was indeed, delicious!

Beautiful property minutes away from town and beach. Nice to stay high above town as it's cool and quiet. Wonderful, friendly staff. Restaurant and cafe convenient and delicious. We stayed as a family with teenagers and they loved the quiet, cool reprieve at the end of the day as well.

What a lovely stay. This is a former convent. We had everything we needed including a lovely breakfast to start each day. They have a shuttle that you sign up for for trips down to the town and beach. The views are exquisite. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful.

Quirky, but very interesting former convent. Free parking close to Cinque Terre. Fantastic views! Not a traditional hotel, but we’ll worth the exploration. Great breakfast!

Breakfast was good. However, no wifi in the room, no AC and no fans. I highly suggest you pay extra for a better hotel AND closer to the city/beach.

It all depends what brings you to Monterosso. I like to be centric , where the action is. Yes, they offer convenient shuttle twice a day, there is also a bus, but the zig zag going up mountains is not my thing. I don’t mind the minimalist rooms setting With no TV (I’m not a tv fan) nor ac although they should offer fans during summer. The views? Breathtaking !

Our stay was very pleasant. The hotel was located in a lovely mountain townThe proprietor went out of her way to help us. The large room was very clean. Breakfast was served daily. We had a delicious dinner the first night. We highly recommend this place
