Did not stay They wanted $100 cash for us to have our cat with us… no one told us this up front. We refused and they would not let us stay and told us we would not be charged for the stay.

They would not let me stay even though I had a reservation. Said had to be 25. But it does not say that on the website. Was there for work and had to drive back home because no rooms were available anywhere.

I stayed two nights and second night we were on lower level and room had mold. My daughter and I could not sleep we spoke to the night guard as he was working the desk. The next day the lady offered us a discount and I’ve never received it to date.

I wish I was staying longer. The hotel has many amenities I did not get to take advantage of. Great price since Clemson didn’t have a game.

The bathroom had mold all over the place. We had to go to the local store and buy cleaning products to clean the shower and toilet

Had major problems with people being very loud during the night. The room above us and the room beside us. Tried calling front desk multiple times and go no answer. Noise continued all night. Same thing happened Saturday night security guard took care of the noise Saturday night. Had to make multiple calls and go down stairs to get them to help. Spoke to manager she was very rude and disrespectful to me. She told me nothing was ever reported. I feel like I she be giving a refund.

This was a conveniently located property with mixed reviews on Expedia, but we decided to give it a try. Overall this is a nice property, spacious unit, comfortable bed and kitchen was well stocked with most everything we needed for our stay. Upon further inspection, the entire unit could have used a deep cleaning, especially the shower and toilet area, additional everything was dusty with cobwebs through out. The pool area was spacious with lots of seating and towels were plentiful; however, the tile around the edge of the pool and hot tub could use a good scrubbing, and the hot tub was not operable at times. Otherwise, the staff we encountered were friendly and pleasant, with the exception of the pool bar attendant on Saturday. The grounds were also well kept. We will definitely give the Lakeside Lodge another chance next time we are in the area.

We enjoyed our stay here while moving our sophomore Clemson student into Epoch. Rooms are comfortable and staff was friendly. The outside spaces are a serene place to drink a cup of coffee in the morning or have a cocktail with friends in the evening.

The staff was so accommodating at the front desk! The rooms in building 2 were great. Building 3 was just ok. Alot of garbage around and a little musty

We arrived to stay for a few days to move my daughter in to college.

We stayed three nights two of which were great we were in a king micro suite, but the third night I booked a different room type and didn't realize it and had to check out and wasn't able to get in till 4. Then when we got to our new room 2110 on Fira floor it had a smell to it. My daughter and I both have allergies to mold. My eyes were tearing and throat was hurting, and my daughter couldn't breathe and he tongue was tingling. We called the front desk and the guy was super nice and agreed my Caroet was wet and he could smell mold on the room. He said hotel was overbooked because it's move in week at Clemson. That's why we are here too. My daughter and I couldn't sleep at all. The front desk guy said to put AC on very low to try and neutralize the mold which we did but now it's so cold in the room we have headaches. Overall terrible experience and while it was my favorite hotel I don't think I'd stay here again. The wood trim also is dirty
