This hotel was amazing from the initial phone call speaking to Cheri about bringing my ESA to our 11 night stay. Room was very clean didn’t even seem like a pet friendly room. The housekeepers was very friendly. The breakfast staff made sure that breakfast was stocked all the way til 10am. Pool was clean and nice. Front desk staff was super helpful. There was even extra touches like dog treats, cookies in the afternoon and even dinner for hotel guests. We will definitely be staying at this hotel anytime we come back to Bemidji.

some slight signs of mold on the caulk on the shower...otherwise really fabulous...the pork sandwiches for all guests from 5:00 - 7:00 are are real plus and the breakfast was all you could ever want...beds were comfy and wifi reliable...hallways and fitness room clean as was the pool and hot tub area

The carpet outside the bathroom became wet just after we arrived. The staff was great and brought towels to soak it up. Otherwise the room was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the AmericInn Paul Bunyan in Bemidji, MN. It was a busy hotel for a Tuesday evening, but it was VERY quiet. The beds were very nice and firm, so we did not wake up with a back ache. Staff were pleasant if not always easily accessible. The pool facilities were nicely appointed with a supply of towels in the pool area so you don't need to use the room towels. The neighborhood is less exciting because it is in the main everyday shopping district of Bemidji, which is quite a ways away from the lake front and downtown. But Bemidji is easily to navigate if you have your own vehicle; downtown is about 10 minutes drive and the lake front parks roughly the same. We definitely will return to this hotel for future trips to Bemidji.

The manager had trouble finding me a clean room that met my request. A house keeper helped me straighten out the room confusion and even helped me carry my suitcase up the stairs.
