A tourist wants to know that a place is clean, friendly, comfortable, located well, and good value for the money. This place is all those things. Plus there was a nice breakfast and the staff went out of the way to find us umbrellas and allow us to leave our luggage beyond the checkout time. Highly recommend this place.

Central location - convenient to markets, restaurants, etc. Monica was great. On site secure parking. Once again Apple Maps failed us blocks away however Google got us to the door.

It was just lovely. Excellent location. Staff took great care in all of our needs. Helped us with our flight which was so stressful because Alitalia went out of business and we were not sure if we were going to have a flight to our next destination. I would highly recommend this location.

We stayed in this B&B one night for visiting the archeological museum. The location is perfectly situated within walking distance to the museum and the beautiful seafront. The room was very nice and clean. Very good accommodation at a fair price.

The Night and Day was an oasis in a somewhat dusty tired city. The room was fresh and clean, breakfast was a healthy selection and the staff was terrific. If you are coming to see the bronzes, they are a few blocks away. Best choice in Reggio di Calabria.

Clean, comfortable and convenient in the centre of Reggio. The staff went out of their way to help us park our car under the hotel on Easter Friday at a time when traffic was more mad than usual. Our room had a balcony over the street and although not large, had everything that we needed. Nice breakfast with Easter delicacies of the region and the hotel was flexible with a late checkout.

Valeria and her husband have created an absolutely amazingly perfect spot in the heart of a beautiful city! The rooms were immaculate, and come with a COLD fridge containing free bottled water. There is an adorable kitchen stocked with food and water that you can access anytime at no additional charge. The breakfast is lovely, as is the young lady who attends to it. They even loaned us extra large beach towels for our trips to the beach- which was only a 10 minute walk from the B&B. They were so incredibly accommodating, even allowing us to stay a little past check out time, because our flight wasn't until 3pm. I simply can't say enough good things about this place! It's the ONLY place to stay in Calabria!!!

The rooms are a bit small by most American hotel standards, but having stayed in many hotels in Europe, the size compared quite favorably. Our room had a queen size bed, two bunk beds (ideal for families with 1-2 kids, like ours) and a very nice balcony outside. Everything was sharply decorated, new, and immaculately clean (and I have high standards). The bathroom was equally impressive and well-sized compared to other European hotels. We even had a small refrigerator in our room, which would have been ideal for a longer stay with a young child. Breakfast was very solid, if a bit unremarkable: nice selection of meats and pastries with coffee and tea. Luca himself was very friendly and helpful, even going so far as to arrange dinner reservations for us at a local restaurant (I Tre Farfalli, which we highly recommend). The hotel is close to both the port and the center of town, within easy walking distance of the Lungomare and Corso Garbaldi as well as the museums. There were several restaurants and gelaterias in the neighborhood, though none were open the day we were there (June 2, Italy's Republic Day, so a holiday). It was a quick ~12 minute cab ride to the airport the next morning. Overall it was a terrific find for he money.
