Was staying here for the Oddebollen football cup. Room was ok but should have a fridge for keeping beverages and some food.Could not adjust the warm water in the shower. Just this room or to keep the power cost down? Location was a bit outside downtown, so either eat at the hotel restaurant or take the car into the city. Nearby only a mini-golf course and a small bar by the sea. Overall an ok hotel. The food and staff was excellent!

The view was amazing but the spa was (poop). Yes there was poop in the spa pool and all of the hot tubs needed a scrub badly. The pool next to the cold plunge obviously hadn’t had a proper cleaning in a long time. Ponds have less brown scum and floating skin cells than this. The other hot tubs had sand in the bottoms. The spa had big potential but just fallen off. Add one more staff to go around water vacuum out poop and sand. Drain the hot tubs and introduce them to a scrub brush. The room was wonderful.

Ppl and resturant was ok. Food was nothing special. The room i had was Horrible. No aircon or ventilation. It was clearly not upgraded since 1970's with brown lepard theme on the wall. Bathroom looked and felt worn down. Construction also right outside that started somwere between 0530 and 0600 in the morning.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. They always went the extra mile whenever we had questions, which was very appreciated. Breakfast is included and everything you need is there in abundance. Very pleased with that. The room we booked was with a view on the sea. If you value a good view from the hotelroom, this is definitely worth the extra money! The view was amazing and the balcony was nice to sit on. The only thing I found lacking was a mini fridge, which would be very convenient if you have white wine in the room (like me). I will come back as a customer again and would recommend this hotel!

Nice hotel and a very nice view from the hotel. Excellent place to walk, run, bike around the hotel area. Water in the Beach is not the best but is also a nice place to be on a sunny day.

We stayed only one night, travelling through. The room was spacious and light and the staff very helpful and friendly. However, the room was not very well cleaned, despite the ongoing pandemic, and the beds were extremely soft. It's a matter of personal taste, I guess, but for us it was too soft.

These are strange times. It's even stranger the way Bohusgården have decided to cope with it. While many (if not most) hotels provides sanitizer gel throughout the premises, increase the cleaning regime, place disposal gloves at the buffet restaurants and offers key cards to minimise the spread of the virus. Bohusgården reduces the cleaning service and only clean rooms between guests, do not provide any disposable gloves in the restaurant and have standard physical keys for the rooms. This spa and conference hotel offers fantastic views over the fjord and the spectacular Uddevalla bridge is a maze of corridors and buildings where the newest additions offers high standard, super comfy and spacious rooms with very nice beds. The older wings are subject to refurbishment so ask for a new room. There is no shortage of conference rooms at the hotel (especially nowadays...) and the spa is a not to miss. Apart from several saunas and hot tubs (also outdoor) there is a huge indoor pool. The hotel is quite a walk uphill from the (mostly deserted) city centre and a car is a necessity to explore the fantastic coastal area west and north of the city.

Very pleasant indeed. Modern room with balcony with extraordinary seaview! Excellent service in the restaurant.

I was only in the hotel for a 2 day stop over as I was on business, all was fine, the hotel was located just outside of the town, on a hill thus easy to find.

I' m a little bit dissapointed because I have stayed there a lot Of times before and then there were better service. We were permitted to use the relaxing area (including in the hotelcost, acess to free icecream, coffe, candy and fruits and the breakfast buffé was so much better.
