Very noisy, directly above a live music venue with live music on both sides and construction next door. 5th Ave is party central in San Diego. A plaque in the room said there were earplugs and a white noise machine so you could sleep but there were no earplugs and the white noise machine did not work. I bought earplugs at CVS so I could get some sleep. There is no one there; everything is done through texting with their "virtual front desk." I mentioned the noise situation to Kara and they sent me a $25.00 gift certificate for lunch. The room was clean. The bed was about 14 inches above the floor, a mattress on a little wood platform without boxspring. It was awkward for getting up. To be fair, they also offered a discount for my next stay.

The area was perfect and the room was nice however the floor was kinda dirty and the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great. Other than those two small things I had a great time and a nice stay I will definitely stay there again.

This place was just what my husband and I needed for our one-night stay in San Diego. The bed was comfy, the place was clean, and it had all the amenities. This is a great place if you're staying for more than a few days so you can cook or store food such you're not eating out every meal. But because of it's amazing location, you have ALL kinds of food options! The only issue is that you are directly above a street with nightlife so there is a lot of noise, but the hotel actually provided excellent ear plugs 👍 It's just something to be aware of for future bookers. Overall, a great place. Would definitely stay again.

From 7pm-3am plan on incredibly loud music and screaming people outside your room every single night. The trash comes EVERY MORNING at 6 am as well and it rattles your room. They are aware of the noise problem and provide earplugs and a noise machine but it does nothing to drown out the noise as it is THAT loud. If they are aware it’s a problem, they should at least include that in the description. The bass speakers of the nightclub rattle your room the entire night. The room was very nice and decorated well. The hallways were a little less clean but it didnt matter. The only really bad thing was that the elevators didnt work the whole time i was there.

Excellent location, excellent instruction. If possible, get an Uber as parking is crazy! We had zero problems during our stay. Large shower, nice towels, decent bed and pillows. Very clean and lots of attention to detail! Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was so amazing ! Very convenient in the heart of gaslamp and their communication was amazing. Very spacious and comfortable home vibes. Loved it ! I can’t wait to stay here again

10/10 !! loved that it was in the heart of gaslamp which made exploring downtown so much easier and now having to deal with Ubers. Check in and out process was so easy 10/10 how you’re able to do everything from your phone. Room was clean, mini kitchen was great. perfect size for my friend and I. Definitely coming back Noise wasn’t an issue for us. parked at a structure five minutes away.

I only have 2 complaints the first is the smell once you leave your room, it smells like boiled cabbage and the second complaint which is very minor is the fact the TV is not in the bedroom but in the living room and didn't work. Outside of the 2 little complaints the stay was amazing and I loved the whole mini apartment we stayed in!!

I had trouble getting into the property at first, but got immediate and courteous help. It was clean and very nicely equipped in the kitchenette, etc. and free laundry room! Great option for a five night stay.

Booked in a rush and didn't realize the location. It's right above a bar! Bars don't close til 3-4 am, and the music is VERY loud. The room itself was nice and small. Also, be aware that this place doesn't offer parking! We found a parking garage about a 5 minute walk away

I liked the ease of communication with the virtual team. The place is small but has everything. Coffees lovers bring your little machine (I had a travel espresso) or filters/ground coffee. They had.
