Excellent staff. Fantastic location

Lovely small hotel in central Bath. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they were able to securely store our luggage for us while we walked around town. I would reinforce the notice about the stairs - they were not a problem for us, but they are steep and narrow. If you have a big suitcase or mobility challenges, this may not be the best property for you. The room was clean and well appointed. There is a pub across Queen street that can be raucous at night. The hotel provides ear plugs if you're on that side of the building. If you're planning to be out late yourself, may not be able issue.

By way of this quick review, I'm letting potential guests know that this property (like most in Bath) is not air conditioned. I visited Bath on a very hot and humid week. Hotel staff anticipated the uncomfortable heat in my tiny room for one, and had 2 fans running before my check-in. The kind staff, clean room, and excellent location were perfect - in spite of the heat.

This property could not be in a better location. You exit the hotel and no matter which way you go it's in a direction that leads you to a part of the city you want to see. Bath has it all, sites to see, shopping, pubs, it's a great city, minus the Sea Gulls, they are troubling.

Great independent hotel in the centre of Bath; much more character than the big chains, friendly staff and funky rooms. Easy walk from the train station and just steps away from bars, restaurants, shops and all the places worth seeing in Bath. Highly recommended, will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Spotlessly clean. Fantastic breakfast. Located in the heart of Bath so within walking distance of all major attractions.

Beautiful hotel, exceptionally clean, great style and design touches, quiet, right in the center of Bath.

Helpful front desk staff, comfortable room with new bath, convenient to everything. Seagulls were especially chatty one morning, and driving to the car park was a little more challenging than the walk back, but it's a short walk to everything.

Great, quaint little spot! Fabulous staff! Only downside was no Air-conditioning, so made for a hot sticky night.

It was a very nice stay for two nights. Very well maintained boutique hotel right in the city center. As a family with a toddler, this was very convenient as it was right in the city, walkable to many sights. The breakfast was also lovely, and our toddler had many options. It can get a bit loud on a weekend night but usually quiets down by midnight. The parking situation is a bit inconvenient, but that's a city problem. Overall a great stay in Bath!

The Hotel is lovely, clean and with very friendly staff members. I will definitely recommend it to everyone and I will come back.

A wonderful 2 night stay in this brilliantly located hotel. Lots a bars, restaurants & tea rooms all within short walking distance. returning to a really clean room after being out for the day. Good breakfast selection each morning with friendly, helpful staff. After hours side door easy to use when returning after 11pm. a truly wonderful stay!

The hotel is located in a central postion which is great for exploring the sites, bars and restaurants in such a beautiful city. The staff were very friendly, and the room was very clean with its own quirky style. Hoping to stay again in the not too distant future. Fabulous A*

We had an amazing weekend stay at Harington's Hotel! The property is very centrally located, with all of the sites we wanted to visit within a ten minute walk. The accommodations are extremely nice and cozy - our room was beautifully decorated and it really felt very welcoming. But the best part by far were the staff members - everyone was so kind and genuine. Especially memorable were our interactions with Heather, who worked the front desk when we arrived - she told us about the history of the hotel and made us feel so welcome. A big part of visiting Bath for me was the opportunity to visit the bookstores and Heather shared in my joy at having found some books I was really excited about. It really made my day to interact with her and it made me feel so excited about staying at the hotel. I don't think we could have had a better experience.

Hot tub advertised but have to pay PER PERSON which seems like a money making scheme as the same power would be used for one person or tub full!

The hotel was easy to find. We got a lovely welcome from the receptionist, a real asset to the hotel. The room (2) was cleanand stylish and the bathroom was excellent, modern and spacious. We appreciated the drink making facilities. We found the room a bit noisy as it was next to the narrow street, but overall the bed was comfortable and we slept well. We will definitely be returning to the hotel again.

A lovely small hotel situated perfectly in the centre of Bath. The hotel do issue a daily permit to save £3 a day parking in the long stay Charlotte St car park but the hassle of driving to the hotel to collect this and then drive to the car park didn’t seem worth it! Not the most welcoming hotel I’ve stayed in and confusion over what the VIP access for a gold member includes didn’t help although we did get the free drink. The room was lovely and very comfortable and quiet even being at the front with our dog. Paid the extra to take our pooch but no bed or bowl put in room as advertised.

Great friendly place and so convenient for everything central Bath. Felt safe and welcome as a single traveller.

Excellent location in the heart of bath. Parking about 5 minutes away which was no problem. Contact the hotel for post code as the one shown on website is of little use due to access road being restricted to buses during the day. The second post code took us to the hotel with no problem.

It was on a nice quiet street yet a close walk to everything we wanted to see and do in Bath. The room was small but lovely. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The negatives are few, lots of stair for someone with jetlag and not much of a view. The bed was a little hard. We had a wonderful stay

A very pleasant place to stay right in the heart of Bath. Friendly, helpful staff. Only downside was an element of noise from pub opposite but you are in a city so can’t be helped.
