A mixed bag; we upgraded to royal elite - this gives access to additonal exclusive lounges and dedicated restaurant. The Royal elite restaurant experience was nice, but the food did not differ ( perhaps even less choice) to the main restaurant. Room was tired and had a heavy cigarette smell, though non smoking. Aircon was noisy and ineffective affecting sleep. What you do get with Royal elite is drinks served in the restaurant ( with I suspect a better wine) plus somewhat amazingly a serve yourself premium drinks bar in the lounges. Nice, but it did suit heavier drinkers than us. Some hefty measures were in evidence. Getting a pool sunbed was very tricky and there is almost no greenery/ gardens to this hotel.

If I can give more the 5 stars I would lovely staff lovely food special chef SALM in the restaurant he is very helpful worth it to pay for the royal upgrade it was our first time but will come every year

I had a great stay here due to the fact that the staff was so helpful and friendly. They helped us figure out our transportation options and get around the island. Food was satisfactory (catered to European tastes). Probably better for families vs solo or couples. Enjoy!

Above anything else, we were most impressed by the staff. Polite, helpful, and working very hard to look after the guests. Special shoutout to the entertainment team who put in a long shift, but always maintained energy.

After a problematic check in all was well. Lots of in site options, plus nearby beaches via cliff walk for those who prefer to swim in the sea. We had to hunt for our hotels.com booking and email to reception to complete the check in process. Good buffet selection for all meals. Quiet location on the outskirts of Playa Blance

A concierge service would be very useful. The hot water in the shower was not there most of the time and showers had to be very luke warm. There was No milk provided in the room with the coffee, tea so could not have a cup of coffee in the room in the whole of 5 day stay, Despite the cleaner coming each day she did not notice and nor did she clean the coffee tray or replenish.

Several of the sanitising devices were not working which was disappointing. Service from staff was excellent as always. Would recommend as a hotel choice.

It is an excellent hotel, with plenty of services, including several swimming pools and restaurants. We were pleased with a quick and good response from the personnel. Animation is also excellent.

Its hard to rate this hotel. It has very friendly staff, lots of facilities and I'm sure can give many people a very happy holiday. We spoke to lots of folks there who were having a very good time, and many were repeat guests. For us it just was not quite right - much bigger than we had expected. Big personal drawback was the restaurants - they were all buffet style and just did not have the atmosphere of a relaxing holiday meal. So - modern and friendly hotel with lots of facilities and with a view of great sunsets...... but just a bit too big and not with the right atmosphere for us.
