A short distance from surfing, snorkeling, and more, this beach apartment lets you experience it all. Polo Beach is just steps away and Wailea Beach is within an easy 15-minute walk, so leave your car at the property, which offers onsite parking.
After you return, you can unwind at the beach, chill by the outdoor pool, or sip a drink in the garden; you may also like the picnic area. As for the great indoors, you can come inside and enjoy the free WiFi, TV, DVD player, and library.
This 1-bedroom rental features a living room, a dining area, a BBQ grill, and climate-controlled air-conditioning. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer, free toiletries, and towels. Prepare a home-cooked meal in the kitchen, complete with a stovetop, a refrigerator, and a dishwasher, as well as a coffee maker, a microwave, and cookware. Polo Beach is known for being an upscale property. Our unit was worse than any hotel/motel I’ve ever stayed at.
We had the following problems: bug- infested sofa leaving us nowhere to sit as a family, no Wi-Fi, air conditioning never worked, the toilet was always running, old, stained dirty carpet with a mildew smell, stained and tattered blinds, and the screen was falling off and hard to use. The smell from the time we arrived was nauseating. I’m not sure if someone urinated on the carpet at some point and it just never came clean, or if it was just mildew, but it was awful. We were without a couch for five days, with nowhere to sit together as a family and had to use a blow up mattress in the middle of the living room.
I found Destination Residence to be very attentive and helpful and appreciate the lengths they went to to try to make us comfortable. However, our unit was for the most part uninhabitable. We had workers in our unit more than half the days of our stay. Sometimes they were there for hours. When we got the new couch, my daughter was stuck in the kitchen while it was installed as there was no way out. We had multiple men in our living room at one time, we had to change our plans to accommodate the repairs. It was a mess.
I spent a lot of money to take my family on vacation to Maui, and chose a nice, upscale location and this was terrible.

I think expedia should let their clients know ahead of time what unit they are getting because I could have gotten vrbo property with better accomodations. Nice option is having the 2 seperate bedrooms for us. Also when arriving they said you may let us know if you don't like but they had zero interest in switching to the appropriate room.

Beautiful place to stay, sunsets are beautiful from this ocean view condo, it was enough room for my whole family the condo consist of one king bead in one room and two twin beds that can be pushed together to make a queen bed and it has a sofa bed. Parking is under garage. You have beach access right from the condo. Our toilet got clogged on the first night being there, but they came and fixed it promptly, so the communication is excellent. I would stay here again!

I believe these are individually owned condos, and some are in much better shape then others. First unit (206) we had was old and smelled really bad. The staff and Destination Residence moved us next door (unit 205) and it really saved our trip. While not new, unit 205 was updated and comfortable.
The sandy beach is fantastic without lots of rocks or coral. The waves in October were nice even slow rollers that were perfect for boogie boarding.
There are no services onsite, even the property managers are offsite. Beach is the main feature, but the pool was clean and mostly empty when we were there. There are gas grills available and worked well. Loved being oceanfront seeing those amazing Maui sunsets every evening.

This is an amazing beach front location. The property is run by destination hotels and we had a problem with our shower that was promptly fixed. We have stayed here multiple times and individual condos vary in furnishing and condition, but you will never get tired of the view or location. Highly recommended!

Check in is not on the property and is a little bit of a hassle but service good after that. The property is on POLO beach next door to the Kea Lani. Lovely beach. Lots of boogie boarders. Our unit was nicely decorated and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook. It as nice that all the soap for the dishwasher and washer/ dryer were provided along with other things like pot scrubbers etc. Although our unit was the furthest back we still had a nice view of the ocean. Unfortunately we were on the wrong side of the building to see the sunset from our unit but we enjoyed it on the chaise lounge chairs by the pool. ( ask for one on the eastern side). There is a path that begins right next to the hotel which runs along the beaches through Wailea past all the hotels and is a nice walk. You can take the path to get to the Shops but it is a fair distance so probably better to drive; this would be my only negative about the place. Totally recommend it.

After a week in West Maui, our family of four plus a friend of one of our boys spent our final three nights at the Polo Beach Club and REALLY enjoyed our stay. We were in a first floor condo so no hassles with elevators/stairs - just a 2 minute walk to Polo Beach, which is a wonderful, private and clean beach with very little coral at the shorebreak. The Kea Lani is next door and we went to their Café Ciao a few times for snacks. We also enjoyed the walking path that extends north to the Shops at Wailea to avoid the car whenever possible. The condo itself had plenty of room, all essentials were provided, beds were comfy and the A/C was powerful. Do keep in mind that the PBC is basically a condo complex so no on-site shops/restaurants so one needs to either visit the grocery store to prepare food in the kitchen or walk/drive to local hotels/restaurants. If I had one nit, it would be that the LR sectional and chairs could be updated but we spent very little time in the living room so not a big deal. We had a red-eye flight on our last day, with about 10 hours between check-out and departure. Bart Goddard, the PBC manager, was SO kind and thoughtful as he provided us with a vacant ocean-front condo to use until our drive to the airport! Thanks, again, so much, Bart, for allowing us to enjoy the PBC and beach for that extra 6-7 hours!!
