The roomwas adequate. The AC/Heat was impossible to regulate. I was told that the room had coffe and tea. There were 2 tiny packets of instant coffee. Very skimpy. This was a "virtual" front desk, so we were on our own.
Without a cell phone you couldn't ever stay there
It was very expensive to top it off. A poor value

I loved that despite checking in late, I was able to speak to the owner.
I loved that she was completely fine when I requested a late check out.
I loved that the room was spacious and clean and exactly what I needed after a 13 hour drive from Chicago.
I loved that the bed was probably the most comfortable bed I have slept in at a hotel in a long, long time.
Finally, the owner Rebecca and her family were a pleasure to meet in person.
My only regret, I wish I could have stayed longer and soaked in the fresh mountain air.
I highly, highly recommend East Rock Inn. Warm and welcoming, clean and cosy, I will be back:)

The room was incredibly clean. Really nice simple furnishings. Met the owner and he was really nice. Great location - hiking trails across the street and Great Barrington 1.5 miles away. We will definitely be back!
