Nice little place in very good location. 50 yard walk to water front Alii Street full of good restaurants. Very popular place. Would have been nice to have a table to eat at. I always found a place to park but parking is difficult. It is what it is. There was a $270+ fee added to my charge that I was not made aware of at time of booking. Otherwise it was a pretty inexpensive place to stay in an expensive destination

The place was very nice and in a great location. I found it strange that the host came by an knocked on the door an hour after we arrived (I had to jump out the shower to answer) and then asked me 5 times to let her know when we planned on leaving via text and with a note even tho the listing said checkout is at 10 am. Was a bit overwhelming and unnecessary.

Very nice place to stay near all the action. Easily walk to restaurants and the ocean. Only downfall is that our apartment didn’t provide the internet password so if you were there for a while that would be a bummer. Other than that very comfortable with most of the amenities you would need.

We were mislead, the condo that we stayed in is not the one in the picture. Ours was well worn & in need of maintenance & attention to detail, especially considering the price per night, $457.00. Very disappointing. Great surrounding area & location.

Front desk did not have my check information. Front desk personnel friendly but inexperienced. Each condo is privately owned & owner has to approve booking before it shows at front desk. My check in was delayed by 90 minutes trying to reach owner & get approval of booking. “Condo” was just 1 small room with fold up (Murphy) bed & bathroom. Too small for 2 people. Great location on beach, nice pool.

Property was decent was not like a hotel where everything is taken care of not so in a condo. You are responsible for a number of things you can be charged for that are not charged for at a hotel. If your going to rent a condo you should have insurance to cover the addition items you sign your responsible for. You learn this after the fact cost was very high for what you get.

Perfect for what we were looking for. Bed was comfortable. Room clean. Nautical theme was cute. Parking is terrible. But everything else was nice.

The room provided did not match pictures. It was very rundown with many broken items and cigarette burn marks/stains. he "security" that handles check in is very rude and slow. Will not stay here again

We only stayed one night. Asked owner to refund rest of nights due to operational commitment and he could not accommodate us.

Vacation Condos in Kona is not a real place. It is a business. The woman owns condos at 2 separate locations (10 min walk apart) and advertised them separately but also advertises them as Vacation Condos in Kona, I'm not sure if that's allowed but I feel that it's fraud. It doesn't say anywhere that there are multiple locations, that you could be put at either location. The photos here are only of 1 location and I got put at the other location initially but after an hour on the phone to Hotels.com, the very rude owner arranged a room at the other place (the one I thought I had booked, actually called Kona Islander Inn).
Once I got to the other condo (pictured here), it was below average at best. Bed and pillows were awfully uncomfortable. Towels had stains on them and we had to strip the bed and take out the trash before we left with the threat of extra cleaning fees (on top of the cleaning fees already imposed).
Don't bother staying 'here' (it's not actually a place so I'm using 'here' figuratively) I'm sure there are much nicer condos in Kona without the deception that this one offers.

The pictures of the condo do not match the actual condo I was staying in. I thought I had a full kitchen and a ground floor room. I had third floor room and for $250 a night (with taxes and fees) the place was really old and shabby. The kitchen was a hot plate. It’s a fine busy location. But don’t expect much from the room

The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. The true name of the location was Kona Islander Inn, which is an old hotel that sold the rooms to individual owners, who subsequently rent them out (VRBO).
