Great place to stay, just across a bridge from (and view upon) the Old Town of Coimbra, hence much quieter (with double-paned windows). Renovated yet with charm. Comfy beds. Good sized bedroom, functional bathroom. Great welcome as well as help (where to park, eat, shop...) Free coffee, but no breakfast at property; available at several places across the street as well as just at the entrance of the old town.

We were impressed by the restoration of the building such that important updates such as noise cancelling thermal windows and other features were done and that the hostess was very helpful friendly and full of information to make our stay so good. Very clean as well.

We travelled all over Portugal and this was easily our favourite accommodation of the trip. Sofia was so friendly and welcoming and let us check in early which was so helpful. The room was so nice and comfortable and the view was amazing.

The internet was intermittent at best, pretty much non existent. I only texted with the proprietor, she was actually very helpful in helping me find the place, which I appreciated. I liked the area, and it was fine inside the apartment, except I had a stomach problem, and only one toilet paper roll was not sufficient, luckily I had something.

It was very well located for access into the old city with very good restaurants nearby. It was excellent to have access to free underground parking nearby. Our GPS had a terrible time finding the address so it would be helpful to give the nearest main road that it is on. Very helpful staff!

Wonderful hostess Sophia! She gave us information on the area and made us feel at home - just wonderful! The location is easy to find - just across the Santa Clara bridge - right beside the historic Santa Clara monestary (must to visit!!!). Thank you so much Sophia! 😘

The room was large, full of light and very tastefully furnished. The position was good, right outside the city historical center. There were many parking spots right outside the building, which was great. Staff was super kind and helpful, although not always fluent in english (but we managed to communicate very well anyway, so no big deal). would definitely recomend this guest house to anyone who wants to visit Coimbra!!!

This hotel is 10 minute walk from the train station. The city center is just a bridge away. We were very impressed by Sophie and Thersa. They both were very friendly and tried very hard to help. This hotel is new and beautifully decorated. The shower doors could not shut tighly, but it was ok. The room was warm with an air condition unit at a cold winter night. Our beds were comfortable with extra blankets provided. There was no elevator but we had no problems climbing stairs and were very happy wiith our choice.
