I don't offer a stay before having a (written) conversation, especially if you have no reviews. Do not request to book until you hear from me directly to avoid blocking my calendar if you request formally, and I may already have offered it to someone.

If you need less than 5 nights, try me within two weeks of your stay. If you need only one night, try me the day before or the same day.

Live like a New Yorker in our charming Village guesthouse. Our price includes your own private apartment in the heart of the Village, coffee/tea fixings, cleaning and wifi! We only offer rentals (and slightly lower than regular prices) here 1-2 months ahead; before that, we only offer rentals on our own website. If you are looking for less than 5 nights, you can check with us about 3 weeks ahead; that's when we open up the shorter slots.

We have three NYC apartments in our Greenwich Village Guesthouse, just off Bleecker Street, in the heart of the Village, a block from ten subway lines and walking distance to Soho, Noho, Tribeca, Hudson River Park, Union Square, East Village and Chelsea. This listing is for our charming parlor apartment, which sleeps two. You can see our other apartment and my upstate log cabin in my profile.

PARLOR APARTMENT
Walk one flight up to your private studio apartment on the second floor. Twelve-foot ceilings, the original wide-plank oak floors and some original moldings will keep you in a nineteenth-century state of mind, as will the old-fashioned hexagon tile floor in the bathroom, kitchen and dining area. An antique iron bed supports an all-natural latex mattress (like memory foam but not full of chemicals so you can sleep healthy!). Tall windows look out onto Jones Street; a small window in the kitchen reveals the buildings behind; and the bathroom window looks down on our tiny soon-to-be-garden. You'll also find a corner to read, a small TV and an air conditioner in hot weather, small closet and antique dresser for your clothes.

Avoid a sublet full of someone else's stuff -- and stay in a place that you can find on tripadvisor and other well-known sites!

We are located in the heart of Greenwich Village, just a block from ten subway lines and walking distance to all of downtown Manhattan. Our price includes all taxes and fees, as well as coffee and tea fixings, wifi and cleaning at least 3 days per week.

We allow only two adults per apartment; quiet children are okay in our first floor apartment.

Each of our apartments is about 400 square feet; they are both totally private and each includes a full kitchen and full bath.

Check-in is anytime after 2 pm. Check-out is at 10 am.
