The very steep staircase We had a park nearby which was fine- on booking I thought there was a driveway.

The rooms were clean, beds, comfortable, and it was a convenient location for our work across 4 days. I enjoyed working on my day off in the spacious and well lit attic room.... as my bed was under a skylight. It felt like a newly refurbished place and the bathroom was particularly spacious and nice with lighted mirror.

Kitchen well equipped for the most part and fine for a short stay but little work space for a longer stay or if more than one person in there... and not much room for waste disposal / any recycling or drying dishes. However for a short stay or if eating out this would not be a problem. Another bedside table with light and a blind for the skylight above the 2nd bed in the attic room would make a big difference. But on the whole, a very comfortable place to stay... we were a group of three, using 2 bedrooms including both beds in the attic room. The curtain rail fell on my head in the attic room, but I wasn't injured, as it was only light.... It probably only happened due to being so newly refurbished ? The rest of the place felt refurbished to high quality, even if the bathroom tap did the opposite of what it said. . It was conveniently located for a delicious Indian takeaway around the corner... and a chippie. And most of the time it was easy to park my van outside.
