ABOUT THE AREA
This residence rests directly on Speedboat Beach, a cozy neighborhood stretch of sand nestled at the intersection of Speedboat Street and Harbor Avenue. Tucked away amidst a maze of narrow streets, it's a serene spot for launching kayaks or paddleboards to explore the lake's northern and eastern shores. However, parking is a challenge with limited on-street options. Please heed the "red arrows" on parking signs to avoid unauthorized areas. Just a mile away you can also enjoy Kings Beach Known for its outstanding public beach, kick back attitude and easy access to mountain resorts, Kings Beach is a spot travelers return to year after year. The North Tahoe Event Center often plays host to festivals, concerts and community events, and downtown Kings Beach boasts shopping and dining options open year round.
Kings Beach State Recreation Area is the flagship beach site in the North Tahoe area. With a lakefront stretch of 1,700 feet, it is the largest public access sandy beach on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Its south-facing aspect and a lake floor that gradually deepens makes this one of the warmest swimming areas on the Lake. A beautiful playground area overlooks the water and barbecue and picnic areas are available. The beach is adjacent to shops, restaurants and the North Tahoe Event Center.
In the winter, you are just ten minutes from Northstar California. There, enjoy access to almost 100 trails and over 3,000 skiable acres, impeccable grooming, incredible tree skiing, and enough variety to challenge every level of skier. Take advantage of world-class terrain parks, cross-country skiing, a youth Adventure Park, and a 9000 square-foot ice rink surrounded by fire pits and a rink side bar
POLICIES & DISCLOSURES
1. Maximum daytime and nighttime occupancy is 12 adults, excluding children under five (5) years of age.
2. Parking for 4 vehicles. Street parking is prohibited year-round.
3. Notice to Boaters - Unfortunately Tahoe Getaways is unable to provide watercraft of any kind to our guests. TRPA requires boat inspection/certification and a clean boating certification sticker must be procured. Boaters must provide their own mooring lines.
4. There is public beach access adjacent to this home as well as through the neighbors gate via the backyard.
5. Outdoor shower and half bath will not be accessible during the winter months.
6. The property next door is currently under construction for Fall/ Winter 2024/25. Some noise and nuisance is possible. Please inquire for details.
7. The use of ANY outdoor firepit or outdoor fireplaces is strictly prohibited at all our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping to keep our community safe from wildfires.
