A unique feature of Las Canteras is 'La Barra', a natural rocky formation that protects part of the beach, creating a natural pool at low tide.

The promenade is ideal for exploring shops, cafes, ice cream parlours and restaurants, with options to suit all tastes. At the beginning of the promenade are the terraces of La Puntilla, famous for their fresh fish restaurants. At the opposite end, near the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, there is a surfer vibe, with more terraces and cafes facing the sea.
