Nestled on the serene shores of Holden Beach, Hypnotic beach house is an oceanfront haven of comfort and relaxation, equipped with every amenity to ensure an unforgettable vacation. Within walking distance of a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlors and more.

Convenient Covered Parking: Ample space for up to 6 vehicles, complete with lighting.
Private Leisure Oasis: Dive into the private pool which can be heated upon request (See Important Information), unwind at the tiki bar, or stroll down to the beach via private access. An outdoor shower is available for a quick rinse after sandy adventures.
Entertainment in Every Corner: Enjoy Smart TVs in each bedroom (Roku and Samsung), and main living areas, a pool table, and wet bars on both floors.
Spacious and Accessible: The expansive layout is complemented by an elevator, making it accessible and comfortable for guests with mobility needs.
Home Comforts: We provide bed and bath linens, keyless entry for your convenience, a kitchen equipped with essential cookware, dishes and small appliances, blow dryers in every bathroom, a cooler for guest use, and a propane gas grill out by the tiki bar.
Beach Ready: Beach chairs are provided for your seaside enjoyment. There are beach toys, boogie boards and pool floats available.

Age Requirement: Guests under 25 must receive pre-approval.
Smoke-Free Environment: All Pier 42 Vacations Properties are smoke-free zones.
Safety First: Fire pits and deep fryers are prohibited to ensure guest safety.
Pool heating is an additional $80 per night with a 3 night minimum. Please request this service at least 2 weeks in advance to your check-in date.
Pet Policy:
Pets are allowed at Hypnotic for an additional non-refundable pet fee of $250 per pet, two (2) pets max. Guests must notify us in advance if they plan to bring pets, and approval is required. Required documentation includes up-to-date rabies vaccination records, proof of flea and tick prevention, and a photo of the pet(s). Documentation must be emailed or submitted through the contact link on the website, including the reservation number, at least 2 weeks in advance. Pets are not allowed on beds or in the pool. They must abide by Holden Beach laws regarding pets on the beach and leash requirements. Any pet left unattended must be crated and cannot be left outside. The pet fee will be charged to the card on file. Please ensure that pets are well-behaved and do not cause any damage to the property. Additional fees may apply if extra cleaning or repairs are required due to pets. There is no liability for pets. If a pet is found at the property or management discovers that a pet was present without authorization, additional fees will occur.
CANCELLATION POLICY
You may cancel any reservation and receive a full refund of all amounts paid if you notify Pier 42 Realty & Vacations in writing (by email or letter) of your intention to cancel the reservation at least sixty (60) days prior to the check-in date. In the event that you cancel your reservation within sixty (60) days of your check-in date, for any or no reason, (including the failure to pay the final payment due 60 days before the stay), including inclement weather, you shall not be eligible for a refund of any payments made to Pier 42 Realty & Vacation Rentals.
Check in is at 4 pm and Check out is at 10 am
Unauthorized late check-outs will incur additional fees.
When leaving the property, please make sure that all doors and windows are closed/locked.
Please make sure that all appliances are turned off (stove, television, iron, etc.)
Please set the thermostat accordingly: Please do not set the thermostat below 73 in the summer season or above 73 in the winter season.
No unauthorized pets on the property.
There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk. Children must be supervised at all times.
No diving or glass containers in the pool area.
Elevator use: The elevator is for transporting a person(s) from one floor to another. Please do not utilize the elevator to transport groceries or luggage without person(s) in the elevator. Children are not permitted to utilize the elevator alone. Adult supervision is required. Ensure person(s) utilizing the elevator have a mobile phone on them during elevator use. Close accordion and main doors tightly on all levels. Do not attempt to open elevator doors prior to the call light turning off.
Smoking, vaping or recreational drug use is not permitted on the property.
Underage drinking is not permitted.
Please respect neighbors by keeping noise levels at a minimum, particularly in the late evening until morning.
Report any damage or maintenance issues to the property management company immediately.
Our properties are individually owned, so please respect them as if they were your own.
Do not exceed the maximum capacity for parking spaces.
Do not jump from balconies, windows, or furniture.
Be cautious of areas with steps or tripping hazards.

The house is large and right on the beach with adequate access. The shaded pool was a nice break from the sun on the beach and the owner was able to heat it remotely upon request. The kitchen did not have a lot of storage for a large family’s supplies and the beds were uncomfortable, but otherwise the house was spacious and had what we needed. The house is very close to the bridge and to public access, so traffic was audible from street-facing bedrooms, and the beach filled up quickly in the mornings. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We had the most incredible week-long vacation at this oceanfront house! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views of the ocean, just steps away from the property. The location is perfect, providing a serene and picturesque backdrop that made our stay truly memorable.
The house itself is beautifully designed with modern amenities that cater to every need. The kitchen is fully equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy them on the spacious dining table or out on the deck with the sound of waves crashing in the background. The living areas are cozy and stylish, offering plenty of space for relaxation and family time.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the private pool. We spent countless hours lounging by the pool and swimming. It's a fantastic addition that made our vacation feel luxurious and exclusive. The outdoor area is well-maintained, with comfortable seating and beautiful landscaping that enhances the overall ambiance.
Each bedroom is a haven of comfort, with plush bedding and plenty of space. Waking up to the sight and sound of the ocean was an absolute dream.
The hosts were incredibly accommodating ensuring that we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Their attention to detail and hospitality truly set this property apart. We highly recommend this oceanfront house to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxurious, and unforgettable vacation. We can’t wait to return to Holden Beach!

One of the nicest places we have ever stayed. House was in fantastic condition. We had 17 people staying there and all had enough space. Three refrigerators was fantastic to keep different groups food separate.

Our family of 18 comfortably fit in this house. It was clean, updated, and had a fully stocked kitchen. The direct beach access was key. The heated pool was used everyday. The hosts were super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. There we’re restaurants close by and a food lion 4 minutes away. Would highly recommend!

Four families stayed here with kids 4-17. Everyone loved it! Plenty of space to spread out. Excellent beach location! Some reviews mentioned not having private beach access, but it does now. Excellent communication with management. We plan to return!
Some things for the owner to consider:
- Better mattresses - hard and uncomfortable.
- Bigger and more comfortable couch upstairs
- Heating the pool in the off season

We loved our stay - plenty of room to spread out. The house is absolutely beautiful. My only nit was the cleanliness of the house (we spend the first day cleaning the floors, elevator, etc). I would also suggest that the bunk bed rooms both be at the back of the house so that all rooms facing the ocean are for adults.

I thought this was a very nice property. The listing was accurate and the house worked well for my family and extended family. Loved the outdoor shower for getting the sand off. Loved the access to the beach. Would have liked the path to have been clearer but it was nice that there was a direct path from the property to the beach.

Our family (14) was looking for a rental and usually went to Hilton Head. There weren’t many options left for Oceanfront/on the beach homes in HH. Holden Beach turned out to be a really nice find. This rental met all our requirements. Here are the “pluses”: on the beach with great direct beach access, an elevator for getting suitcases and groceries upstairs, great porch/balconies to watch the ocean, pelicans and storms come in, extra refrigerators, a GOLF CART to take little excursions on the back streets. The only negative would be the pool. It is directly under the house. We did use it, and it wasn’t a deal breaker for us. Most of the houses nearby didn’t even have one. The location worked for us because we had 6 children with us and could walk to ice cream and dinner.

Hypnotic is a great house with plenty of space and great amenities in the house. Only two things to consider: as the house is right over the bridge and near public parking, the beach is a little more crowded than other parts of Holden and the beach is naturally a bit narrower compounding the effect. The upside is that you can walk to nearby restaurants and ice cream shops...and the drive to Food Lion is notably shorter. Other thing to note is that while it does sleep 22, there are two rooms with bunk beds meaning that lots of that count is group sleeping...great for lots of kids but less so if you have more singles people...not even practical to double up in other rooms which are all single queens or kings. Keep these things in mind and you can't go wrong.

Our family had an amazing time at this house. The checkin process was seamless, the house was clean with ample space. The beach was only a short walk away. We absolutely loved our stay.
Restaurants and ice cream were within walking distance as well as a little park for the kids to play at.
We saw dolphins swimming daily. Absolutely beautiful location. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location with 3 restaurants that you could walk to across the street. The beach access is closer than we thought it would be so we didn’t mind not having our on private walkway. The house looks brand new with new kitchen appliances, and new TVs in every room that have access to Spectrum cable, YouTube, Hulu, Prime Video, and Netflix. It was very clean and nothing looks very used at all. The elevator was perfect for my elderly mother in law and we never had any problems with it.

The house was everything listed plus some. The location was fabulous! It was very spacious. The cleanliness was alright. Dishes were put away dirty and we had to wash them prior to using them. The was sand on the floors and dog hair in the stairwell. I would recommend heating the pool. It would have been nice to have been able to swim in it on rainy days. The air conditioner on the top floor stopped working two nights prior to leaving. Side note: I would definitely stay here again!
