The famous rail-trail is right across the road, walking distance to the Ovens River for a quick swim and surrounded by pine plantations for that quiet walk amongst the trees.

This gorgeous property is set on 2.5 acres of mature park like gardens, with a wide range of trees, bushes and flowers to admire and also has its own orchard growing apples, cherries, nashi pears, pears, peaches, nectarines, lemons, oranges, limes and persimmons. There are also 100 feijoa trees around the property. You are welcome to pick any fruit that is ripe on the trees during your stay. They are seasonal so not everything will be available during your stay.

The attached house is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom property with an open plan layout of Kitchen, Lounge and Dining areas. The sunken lounge has a fireplace for those chilling nights, and the space is large enough for 2 areas to relax in. The kitchen has a dishwasher and large fridge, along with all the kitchen utensils you will need during your stay. The lounge room has a large smart TV which has Netflix already set up ready to go.

The 2 bedrooms are spacious, stylish, well appointed, comfortable and private. Each have their own ensuites, with the main ensuite containing a deep full-length bath to soak in. Each room has a queen size bed with comfortable mattresses, warm blankets and plenty of pillows. There are no steps to get into either of the showers, and each room has plenty of closet space for storage during your stay. The windows are covered with sheer curtains for daytime and block out curtains for nighttime. Which provides you with all the privacy you need.

There is plenty of parking on the property with 2 spaces allocated for guests.

The property has views of Mt Buffalo, the surrounding farms, and down the valley towards Porepunkah. Alpine Angus farm is one of the neighbours so it is not unusual to see cows crazing in the back paddock.

The property is within walking distance to 2 wineries: Feathertop winery is a 15 min-walk and Ringer Reef winery is about a 25min walk heading towards Bright.

Whilst the majority of the property is fenced, the long bluestone wall / fence at the front is not secure or enclosed. Something for pet owners to be mindful of.
