Lovely cottage on edge of town, about 10 minutes walk to market square & castle. Had everything you needed and was very well maintained. Very cozy.

This property is a hidden gem which we are so pleased we were able find available for the dates we required. From the moment we entered it was clear how special it was it had everything we needed and more, the attention to detail was so noticeable. Contact with Rachel and Shaun was spot on and the details provided were brilliant. So we certainly will be looking to return later in the year, subject to availability of course. Tha k you for a fabulous break.

Everything was provided for a wonderful stay - the cottage (built in 17C) was authentic with modern facilities. Rachel and Shaun made sure everything was to our satisfaction (which it was) The location of the cottage is only 2 minutes away from the centre of the lovely town of Ludlow. We also made the 20 minute train journey to Hereford from the nearby station.

I couldn’t improve it! Didn’t like the decaf tea bags and I only like skimmed milk but I probably could have asked for that before I went with no problems

Charlies cottage is well equipped and very comfortable, especially the king sized bed. The shower is fabulous. It has a small rear garden that's pleasant to sit in on a warmish evening.
Location is fabulous with much to see nearby. The cottage is very close to the centre of town giving you easy access to the regular markets and some good restaurants (our favourites being Parkway , Angel, and Csons) and bars (favourites being Ludlow brewery and a new quirky micro pub The Blood Bay) .
The Ludlow Town Tour is really worth doing - very interesting town history,
The stairs in the house are a bit steep and walking around the town frequently involves a hill, fine for us - for now!

A truly lovely cottage that scores top marks for comfort, style and cleanliness! The attention to detail belies the fact that this is a holiday home. The bathroom and kitchen are beautifully designed for modern living and yet complement the rest of he house with its original features. This cottage is absolutely charming and we are delighted to have found it!

Kitchen really well equipped, plenty of hot water and good shower.
Horrible plug-in air fresheners gave me a migraine until all had been located and removed. The only table was small and wobbly so had to eat on our laps. Settee quite uncomfortable and living room very dark.

Location was excellent, in a reasonably quiet road but 5 minutes away from town centre and 2 minutes walk to supermarket. All communication with hosts was quickly answered and access to property easy

The cottage is obviously a real labour of love, beautifully fitted out, full of lovely touches and with everything you could want. Fittings are very good quality, and the bed extremely comfortable. We loved all the pictures, and having it so beautifully decorated for Christmas made this a truly special stay.

Everything, cottage was beautifully presented, close to all amenities. Added bonus was a parking slot which is allocated to you during your stay. It was my husbands birthday whilst staying there and a bottle of wine was left in fridge for us which was a lovely touch - nothing not to like. Will definetely stay again.

Charlies cottage was perfect for a relaxing weekend. A beautiful cottage, cosy, spotlessly clean, well equipped and furnished to a very high standard.
A comprehensive information folder provided everything we needed to know about the property and equipment and the area with recommendations.
Perfect location with parking permit provided to allow us to park the car right outside and a short walk into the town centre.

The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was close to the town centre and we were able to park easily. Clear information was provided by the owners who also contacted us at the beginning and the end of our stay.
The only very minor issue is that we were asked not to wear outdoor shoes upstairs. I can appreciate the reason for this but it would have helped if I'd known in advance and I would have brought slippers.

This cottage is beautiful and so well equipped. It has everything you could need and more. Easy to walk into town and visit the castle, which is lovely. Also easy to visit other places near by as the roads are good. Steep stairs so no good if you are perhaps older or less able but so quaint and full of character. Its clean bright and cozy, with lovely beams and character thrown in.
