Beautiful stay with stylish home decoration in a beautifully renovated building, Cristina (the owner) makes you feel super welcome and at home! The place has an amazing energy and is located in a very quiet little down nearby the sea & the mountains. Breakfast was super delicious, exactly what is needed for a great start of the day! If you are looking for an amazing little place to stay in a small village in the country side, this is it! I will be back!

Our stay was so wonderful! We can’t think Cristina enough for her hospitality. She was so kind to us and offered great suggestions on things to do. I wasn’t feeling well during my stay, and she made me feel at home and taken care of, even making me tea and reaching out to a nurse for me. The room itself was perfect, it was comfortable and relaxing. Thank you so much, Cristina!

The little hotel is situated in a historical building with massively thick walls and beautiful old features. The host is multilingual very intelligent and knows the area. We felt very well cared for.

Beautifully decorated rural house. The 2-bedroom apartment had 2 individual bathrooms. There was a coffee machine with capsules available but we didn't use.

The church bells ring every 15min, I would say from 7am to 12am.

We simply loved the house and the hosts. We were made to feel like family members and not just guests, Cristina couldn’t do enough for us, our stays were delightful

Just wow!! What a gorgeous place!! The whole house breathes creativity and passion. Cristina really poured her whole heart into this B&B! We had a huge mezzanine room where two more adults could have fitted easily (second double bed upstairs). Very quiet and peaceful village, yet perfectly located to visit the main attractions like Castelló d'Empúries and Figueres (10 min away) or Cadaqués (35 min). Loved the little details such as homemade (zero waste) soaps (which she also sells) in the bathroom. Breakfast was very good with a lot of local produces. We even got to try their sparkling wine made of elderberries (I think). While we didn't get the chance to meet Cristina in person (though she was super responsive via Whatsapp), we heard so many good things about her from both the lovely lady making us breakfast and the people at the restaurant she recommended. We will have to come back for sure!

so beautiful clean, personal touch

I cannot praise Christina and her staff enough. It is the best experience I had in all the time I have used Booking. com. They are so genuinely nice and cannot do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The beautiful rooms, the delicious home made treats at breakfast, the use of bicycles to see amazing countryside, the skill of the in house masseuse, the recommendation to the best restaurant in town and of course repeated pots of tea for the Irish in me. As a solo traveller on a bus less Sunday, she also ferried me to my next port of call on my day of departure. Deepest gratitude Christina.

Quiet location in a small village near Figeures. Lovely, old building which has been thoughtfully renovated. Lots of options for breakfast. The hostess has perfect English and good Italian. A large lounge area to sit and area for good weather.

We stayed on Easter Sunday and the village restaurants were closed. Nothing the property could do about that but maybe good to check in advance. The hostess made every effort to ensure we had a good dinner.

Wonderful place! Nicest host. Enormous and delicious breakfast. Beautiful old historic house. A little off the beaten path- which was good for us.

The location was good to explore the area, easy parking. Rooms were big enough and well distributed, correct cleaning. Bona localització per explorar la zona, bon parking. Les habitacions grans i ben distribuides, neteja correcta.

Breakfast was limited and we would have appreciated more homemade food, as in most rural hotels (curated meats, jam, etc. were of a supermarket standard quality). Helpful when prompted (heating, food, etc) Smell of the entire house of artificial air freshener.

The hosts are very kind and the check in-check out was a breeze. The breakfast was outstanding and we also appreciated the eco friendly toiletries provided. There is also a lovely patio to sit outside in the main square in front of the church. Very central location for exploring the area but a car is necessary. I would prefer staying here than in Figueres. The local restaurants also had a great price-quality rapport. Thank you for a lovely stay!

It is the type of place where people only seem to stay one night or so which was our case. We didn't inquire but access to a fridge for our use would have been a plus.

We had a great time at the house. Cristina is a great host, everything was perfect. The house has an amazing atmosphere, our daughter loved to explore its nooks and crannies.

We loved our stay at Can Bayre: - the hostess is very lovely! Even bought a very styleful mouth mask with her. - super nice ambiance in the rooms due to the authentic style - cleanliness is on point - breakfast is well taken care of - we were not sure about parking but it’s only a 10 m further from the location - price quality is extremely good

Nice host! Extremely nice and stylish interior - we liked it very much, it's really worth to see! Nice check in, even if owners isn't there - very comfortable! Comfy bed, also pillows were comfy for us. Very good shower, plenty of hot water! Good breakfast with fresh fruits and fresh orange juice - you can also choose to sit outside! Free parking with a lot of space.

Despite efforts to provide good sound insulation, it is not sufficient between room 2 and 3 - one can hear neighbour coughing, talking, etc. We've got room 3 with inner yard view - the church bells were ringing all the night long every 15 min. - it doesn't depends on hotel owners, but it was very disturbing during night, even all windows was shut. Unsuccessful location of air conditioning - cold air is blowing directly to the bed.
