When choosing the place to stay, the price was a bit out of our budget we wanted to spend. But gladly we chose it, as we had an exclusive experience. The rainy weather allowed us to spend more time indoors and enjoy the cosy atmosphere. The place has a unique interior with a lot of great decor and plenty of sitting areas to relax. Even in the common areas, it is very calm, so you can peacefully enjoy the impressive views through the window. In older houses with lots of raw materials, there are always some imperfections but this place was very tidy and clean. The exceptional attention to detail and kindness of Mr Antonio made this experience really unforgettable. You should try his fondue! It was really great! (Paid separately)

The jacuzzi area could be tidier and more updated, but not a big deal. We still enjoyed the jacuzzi and the sauna.

Antonio was Marvelous, the Pousada is very very nice. You have to try Antonio's fondue it is exceptional. Best we have ever had. dinner was setup near the fireplace at a table for two. We picked a wine from the wine cellar and we enjoyed every minute. The following night we requested a dinner of steak and potatoes and Antonio setup a great table and we had enough food for four people. The food is delicious as well as very generous portions.. We were sad to leave, wish to return soon.

The property offers a very personalized service and the staff was always very helpful and supportive. Everything we asked for was attended promptly. Besides that, the cleaning of the property was good and the view from the room made the difference.

The property is amazing. It feels like a home away from home. But the real star is Antonio, who takes meticulous care of the grounds and even better care of the guests (though we hardly felt there were any others). Excellent breakfast, comfy rooms, steaming hot water in the showers, and what a view!
