Situated in the centre of Cranborne La Fosse is a superior restaurant with rooms.
The food is excellent and the room was extremely comfortable with everything you would need.
There is nothing negative to say. The property is old with its own charm . It has style and its own character. Lovely.

Comfy bed, and spacious room with good blackout blinds and curtains. A coffee machine in the room is a nice touch as well as the access to refrigerated milk and water. Lovely cowshed toiletries in the rooms to use were really great. The staff were pleasant and responsive and our evening meal was very tasty local produce.
The main hall way did smell of damp, and the shower head needed to be held as the clip is broken to make it higher.
Latest breakfast is 9am, which we felt was a little early.

The room was very cosy, and clean and had all the amenities. Quiet and lovely village.
The character of the building and village was very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay and loved the hotel, it had such a lovely homely feel. The room was lovely and really comfortable and quiet, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and the chap who runs the place was so friendly and made us feel so at home. I’d definitely recommend.

Great location in a lovely village. (close to a wedding venue we were attending). nice room with a very comfy bed.
it was a bit grubby in places and the breakfast wasn’t great at all sadly. bacon very over cooked. lovely cup of tea though.

Breakfast ok. We don’t particularly like ordering the night before and £12.50 is expensive. But we did enjoy our stay and the dinner was excellent.

Perfect to have breakfast in bed with local; ingredients!
Covid restrictions prevent that time in the lounge in front of a cosy log fire but nothing can be done about it at this time.

Breakfast was okay and it was different to have it in our room.
Fantastic selection of cheeses at dinner and chef was very knowledgeable about them and their suppliers.
Felt like I actually lived in the village - very beautiful place with wonderful walks.
I wasn't quite sure why Covid meant I had to have breakfast in my room but yet I could have dinner in the Dining Room?
Also, I reiterated that the meal and the stay was for a big birthday and it would have been nice to have some small recognition of that, a card or even a verbal wish, maybe.
The food was nice and the chef was a nice guy........wished he'd ironed his whites, scruffy devil :)
