Great location and functionality.

No wifi - & an extensive DVD collection with nothing to play them on!

Very central to shops and beach, cute little home, gave a bit of nostalgia of my late Nans house, clean and tidy.

The garage was hard to drive out of hahah

utensil cleaning scrubber was a left over from previous family and worn out. The mop was also not a good one.

Home away from home

It was Close to everything.

The leaking roof that was leaking quite significantly. Owner said they weren't aware of this yet there was a container behind tv overflowing with water. They then said they'd had it fixed previously. Very dangerous with a 1 year old running around. Dangerous in general. The missing power cord to stereo and the DVD that couldn't plug into tv. The flooded garage that made it impossible to pack the car out of rain. The dirty stained warn carpets were just a few of the thing's we didn't like.

it was well equiped with some nice personal touches to make the stay more enjoyable. An outside sitting area to catch the morning sun. A short stroll to the shops, supermarket and cafes.

Location is excellent being directly behind Anglesea shops & within walking distance of all local attractions. Reasonably spacious with all of the home comforts one could hope for. Beds were comfortable, bathroom functional & clean throughout the property with the kitchen having everything one needs if self-catering. Use of the garage was handy as well. Plenty of storage for clothes & bags.

Felt a little cluttered for our taste with every space taken up with some sort of beach inspired decoration or painting. Pillows could have been a bit better being too soft for everyone. The lounge sunk down in the middle making it uncomfortable to use was the feedback from the kids.

THE HEATING…PLACE WAS BITTERLY COLD AND IT TOOK NEARLY THREE DAYS FOR JUST THE MAIN AREA TO GET A BIT WARM. BROKEN HEATER IN BATHROOM. HOT WATER WAS VERY HARD TO ADJUST. SOME POWER POINTS DIDNT WORK, ALSO SOME LIGHT GLOBES DIDNT WORK. BUT

We liked the homeliness of the house. There were more than adequate kitchen facilities. Location to the supermarket was excellent. We would stay there again.

This is our second time staying at Holiday Home in the Heart of Anglesea. It has everything you need, like a home away from home. Cosy, comfortable and relaxing. Short walk from shops, beach and river. On-site parking in underneath garage, perfect deck out the back to have morning coffee and a bbq on. Value for money compared to other holiday home in Anglesea which I did find are very over priced and expect alot more from you in regards to linen and cleaning on the last day. Totally perfect for my son and I, as we surfed most days. It's just perfect to come back after a big day at the beach, to relax, have dinner and rest. Sly is a perfect host and has always accommodated us with early check-ins.

What I didn't like, is that we had to pack up and go home! Wish we could of stayed longer! But, I must admit get in early to book because I'm finding it hard to re book again for next year.

Great communication with host. Great location close to everything including shops, beach and Surf Coast walking tracks. The apartment had everything you could want. Very comfortable.

Everything was great.

We were warm and comfortable and enjoyed our two night stay very much. Communication with the owner was excellent and the location close to shops etc was great.

The driveway was a bit tight but it was good to have car under cover in the garage.

Location and facilities were good. Sly was good answering questions. Excellent selection of dvds
