The cottage was comfortable and clean, warm and cosy.
When we booked we believed we were booking a walk in shower. Buried in the fine print on the website was that all cottages had walk in showers EXCEPT the one allocated to us. My wife has serious foot surgery earlier this year and stepping into a high bath for a shower was very concerning. Agreed, it is on the website that this cottage had a shower/bath. However, it is not prominent.

Superb location, excellent communication with check-in, warm, welcoming & clean! Very generous breakfast supplied…fresh local bread, eggs, bacon, juice, twinnings tea, cooking essentials, attention to details & the most comfortable queen size bed ever!! Plus beautiful cosy, heating for a winter getaway.

Lovely cottages in a quiet location. Convenient for us as we hired bikes from Riesling Trail Bike Hire across the street. The cottages are right on the Riesling Rail Trail and close to the centre of town. The cottage was very clean and had every thing we needed (apart from a laundry). The check in was very easy. The bed was very comfortable, and enough cereal, bread, etc for breakfast each morning. There is a BBQ area as well.
The bathroom while very clean, was a little dated. And it would have been nice to have a washer to do our laundry after cycling. Apart from this everything else was excellent.

The cottage was a delight. The heaters were on when we arrived, very welcome as it was a cold day. An arrival message gave clear instructions on how to find the property and gave contact information if we had any problems or questions.
Located on the trail, but still quiet and private, we totally enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful place! Thank you so much for looking after us. The room was delightful and the managers had left it nice and warm when we arrived on a drizzly, cold day. Excellent location just opposite a bike rental shop & can literally see the Riesling Trail from the window of the room.

Loved the fresh eggs, bread & cereal supplied for breakfast. This is a rare inclusion in such places. Delightful cottage & country setting. The garden was beautiful. Communication from the host was very good.
The bathroom is nearing needing a renovation, but still very serviceable & the spa was great.

A very comfortable, clean cottage with very tasteful furnishings. Extremely comfortable bed. Lovely lounge area. Ample provisions for hot and continental breakfasts were provided, and even 'fresh' milk in the fridge which was a lovely touch.. Lovely hot shower. Very good wi-fi. Short drive to town. Easy check-in. Bike hire straight opposite to cycle Reisling Trail. Definitely would stay again.

very cosy, quaint cottage. loved the outdoor garden and had great fun cycling the trialing trail after hiring bikes across the street. easy walk into town.
