It was ok for 3 adults, enough space and good location

Would like to know in advance all the hidden fees that were collected after booking.com. I know they might be in the description, but when you book, it said $90 per night... then after it says $25 cleaning fee, and at last they charge 8% for paying with credit card (booking ask for the credit card in advance... didnt know I could pay cash, nobody was there on site to talk to about money)

Quiet location, away from the busy street noise. Quick and friendly responses to any requests. Nice aesthetic, comfortable hammock. Good AC!

Good location, the staff was nice and easy to reach. She gave us all the info we needed. The parking is good, the outside terrace is pleasant. Location was good as well.

many things: INTERIOR (Terrible and very narrow bed) overall old interior, including kitchen, bathroom and bed. we had the apartment with 2 rooms: one of them had AC and the other didn’t which we don’t understand the logic. the worst part was the mattress. On the left side of it, it was all damaged and lousy(it had like a big whole), I had to sleep almost at the center to avoid falling down. Because the apartment is old inside it looked also dirty. PAYMENTS I found it a bit unfair and not transparent that they don’t explain within the description of the payments (before the guest makes any booking) that if the guests pays by credit card they will charge 8% more as a fee. i received this info only once I booked it, through a message. Therefore, I opted to pay by cash, I exchanged 1000 usd to pay and I told the host that I am gonna pay with cash. After I changed the money she wrote me this: ‘’ Usd bills need to be in good condition, no stains, no writing, no marks, no stamps, no rips for us to be able to accept them! ‘’ Now, I understand that these are her criterias, but at least we should have been aware before exchanging the money, when they send the initial message or include all these info in the page of their villas on booking.com OTHER VILLAS The other apartments of the villas were also populated by some guys that during the day would work in the balcony from 6.00 am until late afternoon, and be on calls all day long. Very bothering for us that came only to enjoy our vacation and forget about silly meeting calls 😂 It didn’t bother us the 6.00 am call because anyway we were jetlagged, but anytime of the day when we would be back home they would be screaming in calls. OVERPRICED we spent 6 nights and given the experience we evaluated that the price is very high. they need to do some work inside to really strive to have those standards of prices.

Cozy place, jungle like vibe but 4min walk to the beach. Internet worked perfectly and the place was spotless clean.

A bit away from Santa Teresa town center but walkable non the less. The kitchen could use a toaster, other than that, fully equipped.

All was good except that it requieres a Microwave

The location is great, close to bars, restaurants and shops and also very close to the beach, but not on the dusty road which makes it perfect. The wifi in the apartment upstairs worked perfectly all the time and the landlords were responsive and helpful. The balcony is amazing, perfect if you work from the computer or you just want to chill after the beach. The kitchen is nicely equipped, it was great to be able to cook some meals at home. The bed were comfortable and the AC worked good. Also, there are two fans in the balcony that makes it really comfortable to stay outside and make you forget that it'is super hot outside.

After a couple of days we moved from the apartment upstairs to the one downstairs because of some small issues. In the apartment downstairs there was no electricity plug located outside (which is also where the table and chairs are), and also the wifi didn't really work inside. Luckily, the girl that works at the property was so nice and responsive and got us a really long cable that we could connect inside. Still the Wifi was too important for us so we requested to go back upstairs the moment we could, which they accommodated and we never had any additional wifi-related issue for the entire stay. So, if wifi and an electricity plug outside to be able to comfortable working is important for you, I recommend to rent the apartment upstairs or anyway to check with the property first.

it was not really clean

We liked that the room was relatively cool by temperature. This is very nice as it can be very hot outside. Max, the host was also very friendly.

The room really needs a renovation: at least the kitchen. Sticky and old stuff. Not hygienic in my opinion. In general the room is okay, but definitely not worth the money.

Excellent Location. Great ambience. Perfect atmosphere for our first location stay in Costa Rica

Showers had little/no water pressure. And a 1 week stay with no new towels was a bit rough.

Place is great, cocooned in the middle of the jungle with amazing freshness. During my stay it was a bit rainy, to be expected as the rainy season is starting. I was working during my stay and the internet was great, even with fact that there was a lot of other people doing so as well on the other flats. Maximo is an amazing dude that makes sure you feel home and welcomed to the place. Overall the location is also great as it is sheltered from the dusty main road, and believe me you want to shelter from the dust in Santa Teresa's main road. Close to key places to eat and explore.

Maybe there were a couple times where there was this smell like stalled water or composting stuff. Most likely due to the dogs that were staying in one of the flats, so with rain and owners leaving the mines behind guess this was the main reason behind the smell.
