It was very quiet and restful. Close to Yackandandah for shopping, Wodonga, and Beechworth. Lots of places to explore.

Being a Motel, just basic food preparation in the room. No outdoor cooking facilities or a clothesline to dry small items on.

Good budget accomodation. Very comfy bed. Wonderful location and lovely old furniture in the room. We were only after a basic room and bed and this was great value.

The location fits my requirements. It is winter/spring time, everyday when we were back from skiing, the landlady would have turned the light and aircon on for us. I really appreciate this, thanks a lot!

We were heading to Tallangatta for a 90th birthday dinner but Tallangatta was fully booked out for a CWA show. This was the closest we could find but it was an enjoyable experience and very comfortable.

The internet was not working Friday night nor Saturday morning so we had to go into town to allow my wife to use my phone as a mobile hotspot. The nearby strawberry winery cheered my wife up. The internet was working Sunday morning so my wife was happy again. ;-)

The location was so beautiful. The scenery was wonderful. It was so peaceful. The room was cosy and I loved the old-fashioned furnishings. I loved the birds and the sounds of frogs, and the horse neighing in the next door paddock.

There could have been double adaptors for the fridge and microwave. I accidentally unplugged the fridge when I needed to use the kettle and microwave. Also, the water pressure in the shower could have been better.

Superbly comfortable, peaceful and tranquilly ensconced in the countryside. It feels more like the best guest room in a friend’s farmhouse. Spacious room, excellent facilities, sparkling clean, and a sublime view of hills and fields.
