Nazario and his son we so pleasant and accommodating upon our arrival, such nice people. The apartment was spectacularly beautiful, with great pride in it’s presentation and atmosphere. In fact Casa Cogollo (the building where the apartment is located) was designed by Andrea Palladio. The location is perfectly situated to walk Central Vicenza. We very much enjoyed our stay in the beautiful city of Vicenza. I highly recommend Casa Cogollo as the place to stay during a visit to the historic city of Vicenza.

This is a beautifully remodeled historic apartment which keeps its character and yet provides you with all the comforts for a pleasant stay in Vicenza. It is very well centrally located and next to the Teatro Olimpico. In addition, no taxi is necessary if you want to venture out of the city to go to Venice, Padova, Verona or further as the train station is a short 15 minutes walk from the apartment. The place is nicely furnished and impeccably clean and the owner is accommodating and always available to answer any question. The main bedroom sometimes is exposed to noise from the street, particularly after a soccer match :) but overall it is a great place to stay.

Merveilleux!

Having lived in Vicenza off and on for many years, I was so happy to find this gorgeous apartment that Nazario and Danila have beautifully and meticulously modernized with fine attention to every detail. The studio is spacious and airy with the architectural details for which Palladio was so famous . A large spacious master bedroom (I slept the best I have in Italy) and a combination dining area with kitchenette afford lots of room for a couple or a single traveling alone. There is a separate twin bedroom which is good for families traveling with children. Just out the front door through the ancient loggia with statues lies Corso Palladio the main pedestrian street of Vicenza. Next door is Teatro Olimpico and across the street is Palazzo Chiericati. The location is excellent for everything you'd like to see and experience in Vicenza. Parking is available only a block away and costs about 20 euros per day. One afternoon I heard the organ music drifting through the dining area window from the Santa Corona Cathedral just next door. Very peaceful, very quiet, and away from the hustle and bustle of central Vicenza, My new retreat for my many trips back to my old home. Thank you Danila and Nazario for all your help, your gracious welcome, and your lovely home. Ci vedereremo ancora!

Aimer Vicenza

immaculate and beautifully detailed apartment
The owners are very charming and welcoming. The apartment is large with a huge main bedroom and well set-up kitchen yet it retains much of the historic fabric of the old building. It is ideally located, close to both museums and restaurants, yet quiet. It is also immediately adjacent to a wonderful church. This was a great place for us to rest after a day of sight seeing.

Beautiful historic apartment!!
We had a wonderful time at Casa Cogollo!! It's in a beautifully restored Palladio designed building, with all the modern conveniences! Nice kitchen and modern bathroom/shower. Very clean and great location close to all the sights in Vicenza! The owners were very nice to greet us and very helpful with any questions we had. The apartment was beautifully adorned with artwork and furnishings. Thank you for allowing us the privilege of staying in Casa Cogollo!! We hope to return someday.

Stylish apartment in middle of the CIty of Palladio
We very much appreciated the beauty of this apartment which lies on Vicenza's main street (pedestrian area!). The facilities are modern, while the centuries old details have been left intact. Very nicely done!

Beautiful apartment, great location but HOT in summer
Lovely apartment right in the center of vicenza but the lack of air conditioning or better fans led to us spending as little time as possible there. It was a sauna inside. Tried opening the windows at night but we were eaten alive by mosquitos. Recommended but maybe not in the middle of summer.

Beautiful apartment in a great location
The apartment is a gem, with the perfect hosts. Vicenza is a great base for exploring the Veneto and I can't wait to return.

Absolutely perfect and amazing
This is a perfect place to stay in Vicenza. The perfect location. The apartment is in an historical Palladio designed building and has been updated and refined for maximum comfort. Danila and Nazario have done an amazing job! And they are such warm and gracious hosts you will feel a part of the family. So many lovely touches, delightfully comfortable and elegant bedding and linens. We could not have been happier and thank Danila and Nazario so very much for the opportunity to stay here and to Nazario for the tour he provided! An amazing experience - a true highlight of our month in Italy!

A fantastic apartment in a fascinating city
My wife and I and our two teenage sons spent four nights at this wonderful apartment centrally located on the main street of Vicenza, a stone’s throw away from the Olympic Theater and a five minute walk from the main square. The building is a 16th century gem likely built by Palladio himself and the owners, Danila and Nazario, have done an amazing job creating a very livable, charming, beautiful and modern apartment for 4 people, not surprising since Nazario is an architect! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and the hosts were even kind enough to leave us coffee and a bottle of wine--the essentials. We highly recommend this place and you could not meet nicer hosts!

Perfect location ‼️
Perfect location!!! And very clean and neat... The only thing I would liked to have had was a sofa.. There is a dining table which is beautiful but that was the only place to sit... The beds were comfortable .. Everything you need to cook... And you can't beat the location. So I would stay there again because it is a perfect spot!! We will return..

Very nice apartment in the perfect location
We would absolutely recommend this very nice, clean and modern apartment. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and provided a crib and a high chair for our two and a half year old. We arrived by train and the ten-minute walk from the station to the apartment made it very easy for us to take two day trips to Venice. Going to Verona or Padova would be even easier, and we are already planning another trip to do just that. Vicenza is a great base to explore the Veneto and Casa Cogollo is the perfect place to stay!

Excellent
Our host Danila was excellent and very courteous. She helped us greatly in resolving some confusion during the booking and gave us every assistance. I have no hesitation in recommending this property to whoever wishes to visit Vicenza as they absolutely will not be disappointed. Fantastic, and thank you again. Stephen.
