The apartment was about a 20-minute walk from the Orange Vélodrome. It was large and clean, with a great kitchen. It also had good, free wi-fi.

The bed was a little too short for me. A king-sized bed would be a much better fit for the taller traveller or if two of you were staying here.

This property is located in so and so neighborhood about 20 min drive from the port ( #1 tourist attraction in Marseille ) There is no air-condition in the bedrooms only small fans we couldn’t sleep ; the only Air-condition is in the living room that barely works . The temperatures were scorching hot outside and to come back to a place without an AC was horrible. I contacted the owner and asked him to send a technician to fix it but he refused to do so and told me that back in June he had one checking it (now it is September) The property has an elevator, private parking and grocery store one block away Don’t stay there during the summer

The host, Alain, was very friendly and helpful (giving excellent suggestions for what to see and do while there). The apartment was very spacious, and we appreciated the use of a laundry machine.

Unfortunately it was very hot when we visited and the AC couldn't cool the apartment adequately. I messaged the host in the middle of the night on the first of our three nights (because it was too hot to sleep), and he graciously brought 2 fans for us to use in time for our last night. That made the apartment much more comfortable. The sofa was very uncomfortable, so we tended to sit out on the balcony (though there is quite a bit of street noise). There is not much to see or do within walking distance, so we were glad we had a car.

Beautiful apartment, great balconies, very comfortable living areas (those that we were able to access). Responsive hosts. The hot water heater and the washer work great! Wonderful clothes drying balcony, with glorious morning sun, off the kitchen.

We chose the apartment, because it has 2 bedrooms. The second bedroom remained locked (This would be revealed on the web pricing page that offered 2 choices: "Reserve" or "More Details". We chose "Reserve", nonrefundable, and learned soon after arrival that the pricing for 2 is for only 1 bedroom. It would cost 30 euros cash per night to have the 2nd bedroom unlocked. For 3 nights, we were provided 2 bath towels, 1 kitchen towel, no coffee mugs. Very inconvenient and unappealing location. 20 minute confusing walk to Metro, pricey Uber ride to Vieux Port. Deceiving and indirect presentation of info on website.

Couldn’t fault the property it was almost a home from home. The property was very well equipped with all things considered for being away from home for a short period. In addition the off street parking is a bonus and a must in Marseille. The metro is a 10 minute walk and just a few stops to the port where there’s an abundance of restaurants and a lot of the trips leave from there.
