The front desk staff was so helpful and kind. The rooms are awesome.

Staff were not friendly, there was no shampoo in the bathroom, the aircon was inconsistent, room telephone didn't work, the night security guard was extremely rude (This was reported to reception but no apology or the name of the security guard was provided to me). Amy at the cafe was extremely rude. Two days on the trott I was told that the Cappuccino machine wasn't working. The night before another waitress made cappuccino from a machine inside.

A breakfast buffet was included. The elevator was fast.

It was too far from the centre of Toronto. Several of the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were quite surly. The living room in the suite was small and had no window. The closet was small. The shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion dispensers were empty. I had to change rooms on my penultimate day due to the noise of the maintenance workers above my room. The carpeting in the upstairs hallway was worn and fraying. There were very few channels on the tv and no Netflix, Prime, or other streaming services.

The location was handy for the dance competition we attended. Cleaning staff were very nice and thorough.

We had no heat for both nights. They gave me a portable heater the second night. My kids could not use the pool as it was too cold in the room and they were freezing. I now have 2 children who had to stay home from school as they are sick.

Even if the breakfast is paid, they don’t pack it in case you check out earlier (which is a common practice for many properties all around the world). Rooms include tea bags but no kettle to make the tea; also include capsule coffee machine but no capsule coffee or reusable capsules, ground coffee instead. I tried a massage at their spa and the practitioner was very nice and welcoming at the beginning, however, drastically changed after we finished. No goodbyes, no indications that we’re done - just plain “You can put on your clothes” and immediate leave to the nearby room (not the main corridor, just another room as they’re connected). I didn’t even understand that we’ve finished, and she already left for good cause as she entered nearby room, she didn’t shut the door. As I was putting my clothes back, I hear that apparently that room is another massage room, and she already let another client of the opposite sex there. As I was leaving the room, I saw her outside and decided to thank her and tell goodbye; absolutely no response came from her. I still don’t understand what I did wrong cause we haven’t really talked much during the massage either. When entering breakfast area, there were absolutely no employees who check you, so since I was in a hurry, I just entered myself. Tried to sit at a spot that didn’t differ from others at all, and apparently I couldn’t sit there for some reason as one employee mentioned it. As I started eating, one employee came to check my room number and whether breakfast is included for me; after some time, some other employee came to check on the same things again. Then, they separately came to confirm that all is good. After I finished, they brought a bill (which was already a weird thing since everything is already included); turns out, the bill is for tips (I guess they expected me to tip for how they served me coffee). Generally, extremely unorganized. The only really nice people are room cleaners.

Someone complained that I was wearing shoes in the swimming pool, when they were water shoes. A question is meant to be asked. Right? Or mind your business? The tone of the staff when we we came for the breakfast buffet. We knew the time. Every morning, we had a personal situation at home that needed our attention. So we ended up coming down at the time just before closing, and the staff kept checking their watch to indicate to us that the buffet would be closing very soon. I mean, we are not going to express our personal situation every time, right? Very intimidating. We managed to select what was offered from the delicious buffet and had an enjoyable time. Despite our situation, we will come back.

The room was very big and was able to accommodate my family and I.

the breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Sharon who works in the dining area for breakfast was exceptionally helpful and friendly and Matthew who works at the front desk was cheerful and ready to help in any way that he could.
