Location was good

Cockroach in the room. Very old building and not Maintained well. Only bathrooms are renovated. Rooms are very small.

It was clean and close to my event.

No parking available it was pouring rain and I got soaked walking to the building.

Convenient location in a beautiful part of DC. Lovely old world charm with modern amenities. The afternoon wine offering is a nice touch. Every staff member we interacted with was so friendly and helpful.

Would be nice if there was a coffee service in lobby. Coffee maker in room did not have reusable cups and paper ones were not replaced after 1st day.

Normandy is my go to place for both work and personal. It is quiet, in a beautiful neighborhood and quaint dining area where you can work. It feels much more like home than a busy hotel!

Excellent location close to DuPont Circle (restaurants and Metro) in a nice suburb. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Rooms, while clean, were a bit dated and needed a repaint (eg stains on ceiling). Our initial room on the top floor was very loud from nearby machinery (not sure if central air conditioning/heating unit), and while the room we moved to was much quieter there was an animal in the roof during the night.

Needed more upkeep. Construction took away from ambiance. Wine event not very nice.

The room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel is located in a calm neighborhood, but it's a 10mn walk away from a lot of restaurants, bars and shops. There's a wine and cheese hour every evening between 5 and 6, which is a nice touch.

We had issues with the elevators not working. So carrying heavy suitcases up and down all these stairs was difficult. The wifi is very bad. I barely managed to watch a short low quality video on YouTube on my first evening there, on the next ones, it kept disconnecting every couple of minutes, so I just used my own 4G. Breakfast is $15 and not worth it. It's not awful, but not great quality, and barely any choice if you cannot eat gluten. You'll have amazing options if you walk to 18th av in Adams Morgan (like Tryst or D-Light).

The bed really good and comfortable.

the bedroom and bathroom are very small. And a lot of noise due to the construction of the hotel 9am -5pm. The photos of the hotel and room are not what it is in reality

I love everything about the hotel staff was amazing

The reception desk is very nice and passionate. The room is clean and neat. The shower is good and comfortable. And the wine hour is great and the FOC luggage deposit is also intimate service.

The breakfast is too simple and has not much choice. The AC is just too noisy. There are also some noisy mosquitoes.

Viel. Raum sehr geräumig. Personal sehr nett. Abends Chst mit Wein gratis.Ruhige Gegend.

L’emplacement , proche d’une station de bus et à 10min du métro. Le style de l’hôtel, le personnel très sympa et souriant.

Le petit déjeuner, en plus , n’était pas extraordinaire. Pas de bouilloire ds la chambre , pas de micro ondes

It was clean, updated, and had friendly staff.

The blackout shades did not prevent the street light from shining through the crack and falling across the sleeper’s face in our corner room facing the back. Otherwise the room was very comfortable.

The staff was beyond generous and caring It was a most enjoyable experience My work was accomplished with grace and ease in a gorgeous location I will never forget.

Comfortable, great location, and affordable. A/C works great, rain showerhead and spacious bath were nice in my room. I'd suggest packing slippers as the carpeting is a bit worn. Complimentary wine and cheese happy hour every day from 5-6 is a nice touch. Staff was super helpful and accommodating, especially Ty who made sure I could check in a little early. Will definitely return!

We stayed for for days three nights and the never clean the room even that we requested.

The room was too small for 4 people. The value of money could be better.

From checkin to check out every single staff member was exceptional. I called a few days prior to my trip to get some recommendations for things to do in the area and I was assisted by Briana who was a delight to speak to, upon check in Andrea was absolutely fantastic and was able to accommodate us earlier which was great after traveling since 4am. When needing items for our room such as blankets and a heater their were two lovely ladies who were working the evening shift Friday night that were so helpful and got me and my sister a heater and blanket to our room within a few minutes after me returning to the room, their were two kind gentlemen who brought us our first blanket Friday afternoon when we checked in whom I didn’t get his name and then another one who provided us with the heater and additional blanket that evening, upon returning from our adventures we were always greated with a smile and kind words which made this place feel like a home away from home. Check out was absolutely painless thank you to the gentleman who held the door for my sister and I as we were rolling our bags out to meet our ride. This was hands down the best experience at a hotel I’ve ever had and I look forward to coming back next year!

Maybe not having a microwave in the room but that wasn’t a deal breaker
