Comfortable beds. Very nice staff. Clean and spacious room

Elevator broke while we were there. Only 1 working elevator during majority of the stay, but only was difficult once to get an elevator. Staff accompanied us to side elevators afterwards.

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Absolute scam and deceived advert. The photos attached to Spectacular room was not the room I was allocated to. I was rather given the Wonderful room as shown on the pictures here on B com. When reached out to the hotel asking I should be given a Spectacular room as shown and booked on B com, I was told there is a mistake in photos on B com and I’m on a correct room. B com says, it’s a mistake on hotel. Between the confusion of the hotel and B com, I ended up booking Spectacular room, hoping I’d have a nicer room but got a lower quality room “Wonderful”. B com doesn’t help despite submitting clear proof photos and videos rather says contact the property. Property abruptly declined to help and dismissed the request saying it is correct from our side and mistake is on b com. I feel absolutely scammed that despite being a loyal customer with B com for over 7 years, B com had no sense of humanity or customer service to actually help the customer. I’m a Genius 2 member and this is my very first complaint in these years. And yet B com just refused to help. I don’t expect much help from the hotel since the staff had no time to even listen to complaint while I was there but I hoped for a better response from B com. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!

Fiquei uma noite só. Já conhecia o hotel mas com a reforma o conforto aumentou. Todos muito gentis, da entrada do hotel ao serviço de quarto.

Da nova decoração, achei horrorosa, tão horrorosa que se torna engraçada. Vale à pena conferir.

Location was great. We would definitely stay here again and spend more time in Union Square area. We were in Times Square for two plays, so only spent a little time in the Union Square area. The room was very nice. The beds, and bedding, were comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly.

There was no hot water in our sink. Thankfully, the shower had hot water. We assumed it was just an issue with all the renovations.

Love the location, staff, our room.

Sadly it was under massive renovation and they did not have a lounge set up for guests nor a place to sit and order a drink. In such a large hotel they could have carved out a business room for that. They did have coffee and danish so that was appreciated.

Convenient location at union sq.

Charged above rates for the area (Hyatt avg sub-$400 while The W was at above $500) AND the entire hotel was under construction. A fact that only becomes apparent when you first arrive and are directed to a makeshift side-entrance and are forced into a hardly sharable single elevator for the entire building. Check-in desk is in a 3rd floor room. Forget easy travel to and from hotel room, forget a nice NY lobby you were picturing, no swanky bar… just a drywall tunnel to your floor. Also and most importantly… No price break, just an expensive disappointment with no remaining chance to grab a room across the park, currently cheaper and better with an actual lobby. Oh, and the shower knob was just loosely resting on it’s post. Be careful not to drop it on your foot.

Everything, the staff is exceptional. The room is very comfortable. The bed is so comfy. The bathroom is roomy and very modern.
