The location is perfect and within walking distance of the train, bus and old city sights. The 8 bed dorm is spacious so if it’s full you’re not in each others way Bathrooms were clean and there’s lots of them Kitchen is well equipped and breakfast is decent Staff are friendly

Have to go all the way downstairs to the kitchen to fill a water bottle Beds are plastic covered with only a sheet on top that won’t stay on and makes you sweat To sign up for the walking tour you choose French or English but one guide does both. Means a lot of standing around. There are other tours that are better

Breakfast could easily include a hot egg scramble and potatoes. The rest was okay and it was clean.

The beds were way too hard, leaving me to toss and turn, and wake up a lot, AND there is no A/C, so the heat (3rd floor) did not help.

Location was excellent. Easy walking distance to main attractions. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Could not have asked for a better location (although dragging a heavy suitcase uphill from the train station was no joke!) The private room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful despite our terrible attempts at French!

The TV in our room did not seem to be working. When we asked staff about this, there was some complicated thing involving a smartphone app that they weren't sure about that was the only way to get the TV to show programs. This didn't impact our stay too much, but it was a little frustrating and somewhat bizarre. Would have rathered there was no TV, to be honest!

The breakfast wasn't really special but enough for the morning.

ruined by below experiences

First night changed room at 2am due to faulty heater/aircon. Second day, unauthorised entry and transfer of luggage and everything to another room while we are out. wet and dry clothes put together, toiletries put into zipped bags - horror. personal pillow left in old room, we and recept went into stranger's room without him knowing and sees his laptop and stuff - horror. Still no comment from hotel, I gave feedback before writing this review - simply unprofessional. Please be aware and secure everything in the room.

The hostels location and staff

I didn't like the dormitory bed placement, ideally it should be sticking to the wall, but in my room there was a space between bed and wall, and my earbud fell from that space and it broke. So it kind of turned off my mood because this happened just after I reached.

All was clean, very well maintained, quite and good location

The location is amazing. It is right in the center of the old town and next to so many restaurant, the parlement, les plaines d’Abraham, etc. It was next to the carnaval de Québec which couldn’t be better. We also had a guided tour of the city from the hotel in french and english.

Great location and great staff. The hostel offer a lot of things, from walking tours to cafe etc.

The room we had was noisy from water pipes running on the ceiling.

Perfect location, they offer a free city tour. Very fun!

I wish they had breakfast. The coffee machine fix it a bit though.

Love: friendly staff, my bedroom the last 2 nights, the location is the best so close to everything , big kitchen and refrigerators.I feel safe all the time.Friendly guests , I have 2 new lovely friends :). Room to do my exercices, they provide me with a yoga mat :)

2 bathroom in the floor were all the time closed, the bathrooms need urgently a renovation in 3rd floor, so we have 1 bath room with 3 showers/toilets for the whole floor . My first bedroom was not as pretty as the second bedroom I received.Some bedrooms have more light and are bigger than others.Wifi in my second bedroom was not working
