The Fitzhugh House definitely exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were immaculate, comfortable, and charming. The kitchen area offered everything we could possibly need. The bathroom was spectacular - modern, with fantastic shower! - and the beds were so comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Guest room was cosy, clean and comfortable. Location was excellent, short walk to town and access to many sights nearby. Quiet area. Easy self check in if you aren't able to get there on time to greet the hosts. Communication easier great from the hosts.

Only point for improvement would be a mirror in the bedroom

It was perfect for our needs. The room and bathroom were very well equiped--frig, microwave, very comfortable bed, nice TV, toiletries, plenty of towels, and the room was very nicely decorated. Patti, the owner, checked in with us to be sure we had everything we needed. On top of that, you are only 5-10 min from town.

The window was small but we didn't spend a lot of time in the room.

rooms are private, comfortable and clean but In the basement of the home with little window for ventilation. I wouldn’t want to stay In summer and if you’re older or can’t manage your bag with stairs look elsewhere. Expect a B&B stay with owners upstairs, not a hotel experience. A kitchenette is provided so it would be wonderful if owners gave an option of providing a small continental breakfast or a bit of cereal/toast to help travellers on their way for early departures. Nothing opens early in Jasper.

The room was very clean. The owner was very nice and helpful. The location is in a wonderful spot. One of the most beautiful locations in the world.

No air conditioning......This was an issue. The room was a bit small. We felt crowded and stuffy. Rooms are downstairs in the basement. The bed was a bit hard for my taste. Like everywhere in this area, the cost for the night was overpriced.

Lovely staff, very homely and very nicely designed place. Close to all the attractions nearby. Perfect location.

Met the owner at check in, he told us all the information we needed but was not too welcoming and we did not see him or any staff member again during our 6 night stay. Room was clean on arrival, wifi was good. A huge bonus was watching a mother Black Bear and her cub eating fruit in a tree across the road for nearly 2 hours one morning.

The entrance door was difficult to olen and noisy….

Huge space, bathroom was spacious, shampoo and makeup wipes were a lovely bonus, as was coffee in the room. Really clean and had room for us to spread out our camping gear to re-pack.

It was a small room in the basement of a house, with one tiny window with a view only of nothing but the window well’s sheet metal liner. There was a lot of noise from upstairs and the other suites (2 other suites in the basement). We could hear noise from televisions until after midnight. Other guests leaving at 6:45 woke us, not because they were especially noisy but because of the lack of sound proofing (when I turned the lights out in bed, I could see light all around the door.) The bathroom was nicely finished but the shower was very slippery; it is a safety hazard. Also, there is no independent temperature control in the room, (although there was a space heater in the closet).

This is a great room in a perfect walkable location. For skiers there is a locker. The owner helped us with an issue regarding the outside door and was very helpful.
