Breakfast was good, good diversity of food

I visited during low season and I was put in the motel section. It was really disappointing because this was not specified on the booking. I visited this hotel before and loved the room upstairs. I just don’t understand for what reason, an hotel wouldn’t locate their customers in their nicest rooms when they are available rather than putting them in the motel section and risking them having a bad experience. If you are not planning on using the door that leads right outside, being on the first floor is far from ideal. I stayed up part of the night because of the noise of cars, and trucks pulling in. People outside the room and the parking lot talking. Wifi did not reach my room, and when it did connection was poor.
