the service desk was friendly

the rooms was not up to par. they did not have the comfortable mattress we are used to with the Hampton Inn. the breakfast bar was very lacking. the hot foods were cold. one of the waffle makers was out of order definitely not up to par. location not the bast

The staff was very nice, the pool was down for maintenance and they called a sister hotel that was about 5 miles away and we were able to go there to swim. That was great service in my opinion

The breakfast was just ok. The beds were just ok( too soft ), and they sheets did not start on either bed life they were to small so the masters was exposed, they don't have encased mattresses which i really prefer in a hotel

Cleanliness and quite. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom room didn't lock. The hairdryer didn't work. Only 1 roll of toilet paper and the kleenex box had only 3 tissues in it. We were a family of 4 so that was a big deal. Also the exhaust fan didn't not work.

Room is clean and staff is friendly. Easily accessible from highway but no highway noise.

Bathroom door handle doesn’t lock. Main door handle (inside) touching the door surface sometimes when used.

Too many teenagers running around at night (sports teams). Odd smell in the room .. especially the night I arrived.. not good.

We could drive the 10 & 1/2 hrs. to Indianapolis comfortably, & it was easy to find this hotel, & we felt safe there.

Usually, Hampton Inn breakfasts are impressive, but this was a bit bare & disappointing, but okay.

The property had clearly been completely modernized. Modern furniture, renovated bathrooms, new carpets and tiling. the swimming pool and common areas were very clean. staff were helpful, friendly. Bed was very comfortable with plenty of different types of pillows based on your preference of soft or firm.

the location was a bit out of the way and there weren’t a lot of restaurants nearby. but they opened the common area to have your takeout which was fun. also they do charge $2 for parking overnight. it is not advertised but they do.

breakfast did not have supplies first two mornings (including coffee); Christmas Eve and Christmas Day the Fire alarm malfunctioned starting at 2:30 am and sounded for 1 hour. They could not reset it so we had a strobe lite in our room that clicked as it blinked. for two straight nights. We had to get another place for Christmas night at another Hilton nearby and were not offered any reimbursement. The hotel pointed to Booking.Com as the reason they could do nothing for us. They did not clean our room at all for 6 nights!!

The bed was great.

Room was not clean enough. The breakfast buffet was horrid. No waffles, no forks, over cooked over well done fried eggs. Sausage links were dried out. No one was working the buffet. Reading so many outstanding reviews about it, we were really looking forward to it. We feel we should get $20.00 off our bill. Yes, this was during the blizzard, but there should be contingencies in place to cover all things promised to guests.

The location was great.

The fire alarm went off around 2am on 12/25. The alarm continually went off at least 6 times. After several attempts, I was able to speak with the front desk attendant who told us the fire alarm is not functioning due to the weather. So we had to sleep with the fire light in the hotel room blinking and beeping throughout the night and until we checked out on 12/26. We were unable to sleep comfortably with the continuous blinking light and beeping sound. This was suppose to be a mini honeymoon/Christmas vacation but this made for a negative experience.
