Beautiful old house with large garden. Room was clean and had all the amenities you need (towels, hair drier etc.) Manny opportunities to sit outside nd enjoy the garden.

Picturesque 200 year-old québécois traditional house with a lovely breakfast and a very friendly owner. We really enjoyed the cosiness of the rustic building and the location is ideal for the Bic National Park.

Beware.. the house is set on a main road but worse, nearby a railway line. I got woken up in the middle of the night by the horn of two passing trains...

The owner was very helpful and accomodating. Breakfast was good. Parking was easy.

The bathroom is not isolated from the rest of the room ; the other person can hear all your *business* and that is a big negative for us : / we like intimacy for that. About intimacy, if you're a couple, I wouldn't feel at ease "cuddling" - if you know what I mean -- everybody would hear you. Also, the room smelled old / not super clean (probably because of the toilet issue I just mentioned). Also, be prepared to be woken up at 3 AM and 6 AM by the blow of the TRAIN I could hear it even with my earplugs.. (owner gives you also some in case you don't have yours, but I got waken up by it even though..). And not just waken up, like waken up with my heart pounding as if it was going to hit me, it felt close... Anyway, about the train, it's present ALL ALONG this street. So this remark would apply to any building close to it. Next time, I am going to rent a place in Rimouski to be far from it! Also, the room has no TV, no fridge, no coffee machine, and no microwave. I found the pillows very basic (not like hotel ones), and the 2nd bed was more like a child-size than adult size. ----------- Specifications : - Theres a community kitchen that has a miniature fridge and microwave, but not in the room - If you are a hard sleeper, you might have no trouble with the train (my boyfriend did not, but myself I am a light sleeper) - The decoration is not my style but im sure some people, especially the french tourists, might like it - Personally I just learned that I just prefer motel and hotels, buts that my personal preference, because we are a couple, we prefer to have intimacy and modern confort, but if closeness with owner and guess is your gig, go for it!

The breakfast was very delicious . The service was wonderful. The location was ok, but a little far from where I was going. It will be an awesome place to go to during summer. I will certainly return.

Everything was good except for the stairs to get to my room with my suitcase. It would be helpful to have someone taking care of the luggages specially for senior citizens. That's my only complaint.

Lovely, homey and cozy stop, close to the Bic National Parc. Warm welcome from the owner. Tasty breakfast included. Much appreciated. We've very much enjoyed our stay.

Excelent breakfast, very clean, cozy and comfortable room. Had a very good surprise in our stay that made us come back a week later! Danie is a super host, gave us local recommendations and made us feel at home. Recommend the stay!
