Breakfast was substantial and quite a social event with other guest. The host could not do enough to cater for you. As a solo traveller I felt very much at home. Ted the owner made sure I was at my running event on time even though it was in the middle of breakfast service. Truly appreciated.

Hosts Ted and his wife Wei were very friendly and welcoming. They really seemed to enjoy speaking with us and made sure we were to ask if there was anything we needed. There was plenty of free parking right on the property. The house was in a convenient location even if you didn’t have a car as it was close to the WEGO bus station. Our room, the Purple Emperor, was large and beautifully decorated. It was stocked with bottled water and in-room coffee maker. The breakfast was excellent and included hot items and fresh fruit. Ted even gave helpful info like the nightly fireworks over the Falls. We only stayed 1 night but were so glad we chose to stay at Butterfly Manor! We would definitely stay again if we return.

Everything was perfect. Clean spacious room. Beautiful location. Delicious breakfast. Welcoming owners. I hope to come back to stay longer in such a lovely place. I felt like home so comfortable.

Butterfly Manor was excellent. We were given the choice of 2 rooms and both looked great. Breakfast in the morning was awesome - way more food than I could eat. Lots of fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice, eggs, and toast. Bed was very comfortable. We loved the water pressure in the shower.

Nice location, quiet, accessible.

Bathroom was a little dated, but workable.

Quiet neighborhood with less than 30 min walk to the Falls and about equal distance to other interesting places to see along the Niagara river in Canada. The property has multiple rooms and we stayed in the room named the Cloudy Yellow room. The lower level had a well kept dining area and kitchen where the breakfast is served. The main entrance and the Rooms had number locks to so no keys to worry about . the room was spacious with a fireplace , a king bed and a full bed and multiple armoires for storage, a table with usb outlets in addition to the extension cords all enough for charging phones and laptops/iPads. the room had a refrigerator , coffee maker and even water heating kettle ( but no microwave which was available in the dining area kitchen). The closet was spacious enough for holding clothes for 3 people for 3 days of our stay. The parking is in plenty for the residents of the property. But the highlight of the property are the amazing hosts (owners) who despite their communication issues ( English is not their native) strive to ensure the welfare of their guests in every possible way. They take hospitality to a whole new level making sure they check on us as often as they can to ensure we are not short of any needs from water to room supplies. The lady of the property personally tailor makes and cooks the fresh breakfast for each guests of the property. not an easy thing to accomplish for multiple people at 8am but she does it with all her energy and love. coffee and orange juice are served everyday along with customized breakfast and fruit platter per individual in addition to yogurt for kids. in fact this is way better than the breakfast service even at some 5-star hotels that I have stayed before. All in all I am glad we found a reservation at butterfly manor.

Besides some walls being a bit thin causing sound to flow between rooms, I don’t see any issues. but such an issue is common to most hotels.
