been under repair/renovation for a very long time. so much potential but no real amenities

Sound travelled quite a bit between floors and rooms. There were some loud parties the first night. The pool was quite loud at times too.

View is great. Loads of parking. Nice property. Clean. Nice to have a patio though the weather was typical winter wet and cold. Would be great in the other 3 seasons.

Bed and bedding not very comfortable. I like a cozy comforter and firm but soft-top bed which wasn't what I had. Room smelled a bit old and stale with distinct cleaning product smell. I opened patio door so was okay after that.

There was a tripping hazard directly outside the door to my room. #414. There were also no bottles of water in my room, I had to ask the front desk for them, while my friends had bottles of water in their room when they arrived. On Saturday night, we had not been made aware that the bar and restaurant were to be closed for a private function and unfortunately had invited people to join us at the hotel for snacks and drinks. Additionally, it would have been nice to know before our arrival on Friday, that no breakfast service would be available at the Seasider during our stay. It was inconvenient to have to go elsewhere for breakfast.
