Great location. No pool but you can use the Hotel Victor’s (one block away)

It’s very pricy for the amenities. The cleaning staff was just lounging around in the room when we checked in. Also - the couple ahead of us in line was explaining to the desk staff that they were robbed! Bad sign. The cops were called etc. not a great sign :(

Can't beat the location versus price. On Ocean Drive close to EVERYTHING - beach, restaurants, nightlife, pharmacy, etc. Location just made life easier. We parked our rental car at the public garage 3-5 mins away. We borrowed the hotel's bikes and drove up and down Ocean Drive to get breakfast. You can swim in their sister hotel pool, but there was too much going on we never got around to it. Evenings they have flamenco guitar and dancer, belly dancer. Such great entertainment! Highly recommend. They have free water, coffee in the lobby.

Can't park in front even to unload! Cops are so aggressive. Need to use valet if you're stopping in front of the hotel. But the garage was literally around the corner this inconvenience wasn't as big of a deal. The music was on until 10pm or 11pm depending on the day, but it didn't bother us. Most of Ocean Drive in the evening has a lot of noise so this common.

AC has weird noise. They also declined my request to move my booking by one day because of my canceled flight which is ok, but usually, I expect more understanding when I pay $900 for four nights. Also, expect at least to have glasses in the room. That was so stupid that they had champagne ice buckets but didn't have glasses.

Very good location, kind and helpful staff. There are bycicle, caffee corner, bottle of water. The breakfast was very good. Wi-fi, air-conditioning was great. Very close to the beach.

The alcoholic beverages were expensive compared to the food. You don't count on it.

One of the main reasons for choosing this hotel, was for its proximity to the beach and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Straight across the street, less than 100 yards to step into the ocean. Another feature we liked was that the hotel provided towels and chairs to take from the hotel to the beach. This came in very handy one afternoon when the people hiring out the sun beds on the beach wanted to charge us a full days rental $63.00, for only 3 hours, for 2 x sun beds and 1 x sun shade. We ended up getting the chairs (for free) from the hotel and bought a sun shade in a shop on Collins Avenue for $39.99, which we were able use on subsequent days. We also took advantage of the free cycles from the hotel as well. Using them to ride from 12th Street on South Beach on up to 96th Street on North Beach, along the excellent cycle path. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. We liked the fact that they were not in our face and offered help or suggestions when we asked for it. We like to be left alone when on vacation, so asked for our room not to be made up. This request was respected, as well as another we had for some extra coffee pods, so that we could make some in our room. I’d also like to point out that every review I had read of all hotels in the South Beach area said that car parking was a problem and that it would cost about $44.00 per day. With a rental collected from Miami International Airport, I was not looking forward to paying this much each day. I mentioned this to the front desk staff upon arrival and was politely directed to a car park on 13th Street and Collins, less than 50 yards from the hotel which only charged $20.00 per 24hr period. The only disappointment with this came when we ventured out on a Friday evening and found the car park full when returning at 21:00. We had to park in an alternative car park on Collins Avenue, which charged $25.00 per 5hr period. I'd also like to add that the in room WI-FI was excellent.

The only thing that we weren’t to keen on was the late night music, from the front of the hotel. We could hear this clearly from our room every night.

Hotel Ocean topped it off! We spent 2 days after going on a 7 day cruise to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Pino was awesome. He treated us with special care during our stay. The restaurant's food and service was excellent, a little pricey, but worth the money. The waiters were outstanding, as well! The location is right across from the beach. Thank you, Hotel Ocean and staff, for your hospitality!

Property location was incredible! I stayed at a deluxe superior room with bathtub and it was great, room was very big, bathroom was very spacious, and there was everything I needed including a very comfortable bed! Pino at the front desk was kind, very helpful and professional.

It gets a little noisy as the restaurant downstairs is open until 2am with loud music. If you are up and wanting to have fun it is lively and nice, but if you are planning to sleep earlier than 2am it can be a little tough.

Perfect location if you want to enjoy the beach, some nightlife and walking around South-Beach. Taking breakfast or a drink at night is also great given the location right by Ocean Drive. The hotel provides beach cruiser bikes for free, which is super! This is the perfect means of moving around - and you will be able to see all Miami Beach easily. The rooms are ok and with the bathroom being recently refurbished a real good choice. I had a quiet room with a lot of space at a good price. I would like to in particular highlight the great service. Everybody was very helpful and friendly. I was able to get into my room early and front desk person helped me with recommendations for shopping, tours and for getting around. They were amazing when I had lost my key and cards. Thank you to the entire team.

The hotel does not have a pool - though you are able to use the one of a neighbor hotel. In some areas of the hotel you can feel and see that it has been around for a few years (e.g. the public bathroom felt a bit run-down or the look and feel of the walkways and elevator)- but nothing serious and fully ok for the status and price.
